✦ AI summary

Players appreciate the game's zen-like, relaxing gameplay loop and charming retro aesthetic, with the leaf-raking and upgrade mechanics providing satisfying progression for those who enjoy incremental games. However, multiple significant bugs undermine the experience, including vanishing compost bins when changing yards, upgrades becoming unbuyable without restarting, and leaves spawning only in limited areas, while the lack of a save system forces players to restart from scratch each session.

So, this game is really only for you if you like repetitive, tedious tasks, like me. It's like a little zen garden but with leaves and money for upgrades. I very much enjoy this type of game and I think it helps with attention span building the more you play it. The leaf upgrades are cute and I like the fact that it gives you different yards to work in. That being said, there are a few things I'd like to critique. 1. There is no save mechanic. I would like to be able to quit the game and come back to where I left off instead of having to start over every single time. 2. I'm not sure if this was a glitch or not, but when I got four compost bins and graduated to the next yard from the starting yard, I was not able to buy compost bins anymore and I was reset to 1 bin. 3. I'm not sure if it's my computer being underpowered, or if the game is not well optimized, but using the leaf blower tool made things a little laggy and slow until I let go of the mouse on it. I would like to see additional tools to use in the future or at least make the leaf blower a bit more easy to use. It feels too rigid. That's really all I have to say about the game, it's nice, cute, and simple. If you like…

The game is very zen and as a simple and relaxing formula. I enjoyed the graphics, as it brings me back to the early internet when people used to make simple and fun games for each other like this all the time. I am interested to see what this developer makes going forward. I recommend this game under one bug fix request: I had four compost bins in the first yard, and when I advanced to the second yard there was a bug where it reduced my compost bins to 1 and I wasn't able to re-buy the other three bins. This is a bug I'd like to see worked out, and please respond to my review if you do. A simple request I have is some sort of save functionality. Well done with your first game, good luck going forward.

A really solid, enjoyable concept for a "tedium" incremental that would get a positive review if not for the bugs. Vanishing compost bins, upgrades that stop being buyable unless you reboot the game and leaves only spawning in one quadrant of the area, I feel like I can't recommend it in good conscience. Maybe if the price was lower those issues could be dismissed, because you are after all just raking some leaves, but there are some very very good similar games out there in this price range to compete with. On a more subjective sidenote, I also would have liked to see achievements.

Satisfying, relaxing, simple, and fun! Definitely has a few kinks to work out, but I'm excited for future bug fixes and to watch this game grow. One bug I encountered a lot is that occasionally a level will not complete despite raking all the leaves. This can be fixed by going to the main menu and then resuming the game, but then afterwards, leaves will only spawn in the bottom right corner of the map. There is also an issue where when you change maps, your compost bins will disappear. This can also be fixed by exiting and restarting the level.
