if you can get it under $10 not a bad deal if you are able to stay away from microtransactions. The battle pass/season passes are overpriced and just cosmetics, and that is on top of a +$60 base game price. Makes sense why this game is now delisted. Actually a pretty fun racing game without the stress. Definity a game good for younger audience while still fun as an adult. Main story is easy follow and you can skip cutscenes at anytime. The races tracks are all different. The open world part was fun, it was cool to be able to get rid of weeds to help you create little flowers that give you speed boost. Visually is it pretty to look at. The shortcuts are satisfying to find. The challenges a bit grindy and take time to master. Has two player mode split-screen local co-op, keep in mind only the host makes progress storywise. While being able to build your own vehicle was a neat feature, its a long and the tutorial is too tedious for my taste. The glowing bricks was my favorite to add to all my vehicles. Definitely on point with the lego vibes of puns and the ability to destroy the surrounding environment The servers will go down around 31 May 2027, so still time get the online ach…5 found this helpful
A charming but heavily flawed racing game. It felt like they didn't have a clear idea of what they wanted it to be. Not that it matters anymore, since it's been delisted.1 found this helpful
Getting shut down, cannot buy anymore. It's a good game, especially if you buy/bought the Awesome Edition (you still can via key sites). The awesome edition gives way more, about 4x more, things in game, then the regular game. The game is getting shut down, but as long as you either are fine with not having one achievement, or you are quick, you can 100% the game. The game is good in that you can create your own cars, but you do need the season passes to get lots of bricks.1 found this helpful
If you cant commit to a live service game don't even bother glad we can still play the game offline but we lost the amazing work that people built and shared with no way to even see that content anymore! 2K is a joke and should have never been given this project Sadly for me this game was a bit of a miss as it was bogged down with so much bloat it was more of a job to play its sad its gone but i hope we get a real lego racer game soon not some 2K money grab R.I.P LEGO 2k Drive you was ok
I'm not really big on Lego but I did play (and enjoy) some Lego games on consoles. Even though this game seems to focus a lot on building vehicles, I ignored that part entirely because I wanted to play the game for the racing, exploration and collecting things. The game has 5 mini open worlds with their own themes, races and collectibles. There is a 'story' to follow by completing specific races but there is so much more to the game if you like open world style optional missions. The game looks absolutely gorgeous, there are many times I had to stop with what I was doing just to admire the beauty. The game also has some fantastic songs, very catchy and peaceful. The controls, races, gameplay and balance are pretty top notch. I had a great time and went out of my way to clear everything possible. The game does have 2 issues but some might not care. The first one is related to 2 achievements requiring you to drive around 10k KM. As mentioned, I've done everything including the 5th mini open world that was added later to the game but I still got 3.6k KM at most. Frankly, those achievements shouldn't exist or the max should be 3K KM. There is no content to get that amount and even …
Story was too short when i played it. Nothing to do after beating the game. And the ai was rubberbanding. Not very good
