About Letters of longing
You are a soldier in Spain in 1938. You must infiltrate the enemy's territory to retrieve sensitive information. It is an infiltration mission that awakens memories in an old woman who claims to be losing her memory. In this "Walking Simulator" game you will find puzzles in which the solution lies in knowing how to find your way through a town hall destroyed by war. Through keys and maps scatered arround the building you will advance and discover the story that is told to the player through the messages written on a typewriter. These messages are the letters sent to each other by Juan and Antón, the protagonists of the story. In these you can see how the war has affected them, what their true relationship truly is. The letters show the things they did not share and only the two of them experienced.
Includes:
- Immersive environment of a town hall in the Spanish Civil War.
- Linear love story that tells you about the relationship between two men before, during and after a war.
- Puzzles that are solved thanks to the player's ability to orient themselves and read maps.
- In-game cinematics about the story.

Such a beautiful and moving story! I went a little crazy at first opening and closing drawers so, for future players, I recommend leaving the drawers alone :,) I really enjoyed seeing the story from the perspective of this character (I won’t say who, to avoid spoilers). Thank you, truly, for this beautiful game!3 found this helpful
Ojalá más juegos con un sabor tan local. ¡Me han gustado mucho las fotos que acompañan el relato!2 found this helpful
A short game you can play in one sitting (they even recommend it at the start). A really lovely story that’s absolutely worth experiencing.1 found this helpful
This is a really sweet story- I enjoyed reading the letters and following their story. I highly recommend if you're interested in historical slice of life stories.1 found this helpful
This was short, but super sweet game. I even teared up at the end. My biggest criticism is that changing the settings doesn't seem to hold. I've turned off vibration three times, and each time, it wouldn't turn off. Annoying, but didn't hurt my ability to enjoy the game.
If you have a free hour, there is absolutely no reason for you not to play it. Letters of longing is a short exploration of people's lifes, in a difficult time and through a really interesting lense. The story it tells defenetly leaves you longing (hehe) for more
