A 12-year-old's take on 1984. It's a story driven game where the characters are bland, the plot is bad, and the gameplay is somehow worse. The graphic novel element isn't enough to hold this game above water.

Перед нами цікава за своєю концепцією гра. Якщо вам хочеться зануритись в антиутопічний комікс з невеличкими вставками геймплею і мінімальним впливом на ситуацію то цей проект має вам сподобатись. В деяких аспектах гра відчувається трохи недопрацьованою, керування далеко не ідеальне, платформінг дуже простий і т.п., але якщо сприймати це як інді проект який ставив за мету донести нам історію і створити глибоку насичену похмуру атмосферу антиутопії то можна скзати що гра цілком виконує таку функтцію. Сам підхід до взаємодії комікса і окремих ігрових сцен має великий потенціал для розвитку, і у майбутньому я б з радістю ще раз спробував схожу механіку, але переосмислену і глибше пропрацьовану.

Some games are hard to recommend. I want to recommend it so anyone who's into this type of game and general experience doesn't feel deterred from trying it, but I also feel the game fails in more places than it succeeds. I love comics and I love video games so of course this game should be exactly what I want, shouldn't it? And as it starts, it feels pretty good and promising. The setting is a sort of dystopian Black Mirror meets V for Vendetta type of city and you have to escape the authorities. Some stealth, some QTEs... so far, so good. But the more the story progresses the more you start seeing how the game had more ambition than means to make it reality. The story often feels rushed. Poor characterization, dialogue often feels generic and "edgy" for the sake of being edgy. The voice acting isn't great... So much of the dialogue falls flat and try-hard. Then there's the storytelling and game and how you start playing a character, then go to play a character on the opposite team and this should be interesting if the game seemed interested in portraying the two sides of the conflict with nuance and depth but that's not quite the case, so why elevate a character just to mak…

The comic book storytelling style was really cool and the art style was good. The gameplay got kinda repetitive though, and the story was meh.

not the kind of marvel comic i remember... way to boring

Its not even for a reader nor for a gamer!! The too slow transition clicks works only at time u cant pace the story just showing boring visuals!!! Aim is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ as soon as u aim the aim will be completely opposite in the first place u have to use your reflexes to make it right!! Very boring stuff so long solving puzzles!! Even my achivement doesnt count now i have to figure out which minigame i have not done under 90sec.. for that i aint playing it from zero!!! ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game!!!
