What Steam players say

Link Twin is a mobile app that's been dumped on Steam. It's a simple puzzle game where you control two characters who share the same controls similar to a lot of other puzzles that use the same mechanism. The objective is to get both characters to the end goals, but the obstacles between each and their goal are different. There's a lot of these simple games, this one is a tablet port and tablet ports don't belong on Steam so I'm going to go ahead and give this a thumbs down. People who want games like this can play them on tablet or in a web browser for free, so there's no justification for this being on Steam apart from publisher greed.5 found this helpful
Another in an endless sea of simple puzzle games that clearly don`t want to be one. Annoyed me to the poit of stopping plaing as it just endlessly spams the `hint` icon at you if you so much as look like you need to work something out for more than a second. It`s a puzzle game, you`re supposed to work it out so knock it off with that nonsense. What`s the point of trying to use my brain and solve anything if you just constanlt badger me to use a hint, cheat and skip all the darn puzzles all the time ? I know where the hint icon is, I can see it now you`ve shown me the feature over and over and over again, now do me the courtesy to shut up and just let me play the game for 10 seconds without harassing me again. Presentation is generally very nice, simple but a nice style and well animated. I just can`t shake the feeling that whoever made it just doesn`t want anyone to play it, so I`ll take their `hint` and not bother.3 found this helpful
A pretty little puzzler with dual sokoban style gameplay. The A/V is relaxing and makes for an enjoyable experience. I appreciated the minimal move approach and tight board design.2 found this helpful
Cute, but forgettable variant of sokoban in which you control two characters, moving as one, and with the outer borders removed. There are also a couple of additions like teleporting between separate boards and a rudimentary story. The puzzles slowly increase in difficulty. Some replayability if you want to do things more efficiently and earn more stars. The two main characters, Tom & Lily, are adorable. There is a spoil system if you get really stuck, but you can use it only a limited number of times, and it does right out tell you the solution, so beware of that before you use it. For the more challenging puzzles you will have to think ahead any number of steps, but actions can be undone or reset at any time, so you don’t have to worry about anything being final. The only real annoyance I had was when replaying to get more stars: The way level select works forces me to flip through all chapters every time I want to switch to another level. I also had to wait for the level select menu animation to finish every time before any interaction was possible, which made the chapter flipping even more annoying. Final thoughts: Link Twin is a moderately challenging puzzle game with a sty…1 found this helpful
Cute and simple puzzle game. Worth the price. Play it if you have some time to loose and if you are a fan of this genre.1 found this helpful
Nice, soft, sweet mood. Easy puzzles at start. Getting difficult over time. Relaxed progress, no hardcore puzzles. Good for half an hour after work.1 found this helpful
