I like it when the name of the game also serves as instructions, less explaining to do. so link the animals is about linking animals. each level has a bunch of pairs that have to be connected with a line each, but no need to finish connections in one go, you can start one, then another, see what's left, etc. it's not necessary to fill every tile on the board either, as opposed to most other games in the genre, and thanks to the ghostbusters we've known for decades that you shouldn't cross lines. I found it mildly annoying that lines can break already placed ones if you draw over them, so be careful. 348 levels in 5 difficulties (99 easy, 99 medium, 50 advanced, 50 hard, 50 expert, one unlocked at a time, but each pack is available from the start), so it works for every age group and should keep you busy for hours. not too shabby for a dollar. cute graphics, okay audio, if very short and repetitive, sound and music on/off, no volume settings, but after a very short while you'll want to listen to or watch something in another window or screen anyway (press alt+enter for a resizable window).15 found this helpful
Link the Animals is a ripoff of a basic mobile game template using Unity. It's a simple puzzle game where you put your finger on an object and trace a path to the other object in that pair, and repeat the process without running over any of the existing paths. I've played a few games using this same Unity template. A few reviewers have commented that they think this is malware because of high CPU and GPU usage, although I couldn't verify that, so I'll jump to the developers aid here and suggest it's just really badly optimised, but then what do you expect for a mobile app that's been lazily dumped on Steam, possibly because the app stores wouldn't take it because of some strange thing they have called "QA". Anyway, lulzy bad mobile app tier game/asset flip kind of stuff, you can play this kind of thing free on mobile, so why bother paying for this one on Steam?8 found this helpful
Increase my CPU usage to 90%. Suspect of cryptominer or malware. For a 'flash' game that is really suspicious.6 found this helpful
Good for all kids! I recommend!4 found this helpful
3/10 as basic as they come - only 4 in game sounds used over and over3 found this helpful
I don't know why a game of this look and function will use 50% of my CPU and 90% of my GPU, but I do not trust it.3 found this helpful
