abandoned-looking early access project, 15 months and counting. wasn't much left until 'full' release, not that it means anything. it's also a different game now. been waiting for the finished product, never played until v0.9, but it used to be turn-based, for instance, now it's real-time. not sure where it would've ended up eventually but I remember it being advertised as more puzzly, now it's just a clicker. I've seen more involved and polished game jam entries done over a weekend, and those are free, not 5 eur. also, the single achievement is broken if you care about such things. there's an animated how to play section. plow, water, then plant and wait a bit while things get ready to harvest. most things go to the farm, mushrooms are grown separately. the more you farm, the higher its level gets, unlocking more crops. you can also expand the starting 3x3 areas (prices aren't shown, keep trying until you have enough cash) and bring up the recipe book for reference and use it like you're on your phone. who needs scroll bars or a mouse wheel that moves more than a few pixels? it doesn't show what you can potentially make either, gotta keep cross-referencing it with your inventory.…4 found this helpful
As a casual game, the experience is extremely poor3 found this helpful
As much as I want to recommend this game, I can’t quite do so at this time. It’s currently in early access, and while the foundation the developers have built shows real promise, the experience as it stands doesn’t quite justify the price. There are several noticeable bugs, very limited instructions, and little communication from the developers so far. That lack of guidance and updates makes it difficult to fully enjoy what could otherwise be a relaxing and engaging experience. That said, I truly believe this game has the potential to become something special. If the developers return with updates and address the feedback that’s already been shared, there’s more than enough here to grow into something genuinely enjoyable. I sincerely hope they do, because at its core, this feels like the beginning of something charming and relaxing.1 found this helpful
Game was extremely boring and felt like it needs a lot of polish. The Garden side is fine i don't mind it, but the restaurant side just seems like i am being punished the more crops I unlock and more food I cook. Game seems like it could be good, but needs a ton of work. I did get if for free to review but I won't lie about my experience because of that.1 found this helpful
Hey. I tried. I did everything I could to like this game. I still will continue my best. Maybe revise my review if I can get the sole achievement. That would be great.. In fact I will overlook the items listed below and revise my review if I can get that thing. I posted a screenshot to show that I did in fact harvest a single crop. Items to be possibly forgiven: 1. Achievement not unlocking. 2. Accidentally 'left clicking' picking up one of your many corn statues and bugging out the game until you reset the whole thing. 3. Duplicating items in the restaurant and the game telling you that you STILL need to place a table and chair. Thus breaking the game. New game. 4. The poor item harvest exp variety. Looking at you Parsnip. Max out in a few days? I think so. 5. The slow rate of guests eating. I mean I had at one point(One of my many resets) a 9 grid island system and only one came at a time. 6. Every time you reload into your game from a 'Windows quit,' the game forces you to rename your restaurant. (RIP "ACHEEVO SPOT") 6.1. Don't hold 'SHIFT' while r\writing that name, it kicks you back to the previous area(ie mushroom wastes). 7. No instructions on how to do much other…1 found this helpful
