Play as a lighthouse keeper scouting ships and making reports while you uncover the mystery the tiny island is hiding. [h3][u]Gameplay & Settings[/u][/h3] My first thought when I was looking to review this game was how many ships would I end up ship-wreaking on the rocks when it came to scouting and filing reports. Thankfully there is a tutorial and no ships washed up on the rocks below. There is an overall story to the game that unlocks as you make progress. Progress is achieved by earning money (by doing scout reports) to buy items in the store to advance the plot. One of the first items to try to earn is the crowbar. [i]A full walk-through is available under guides if you need help.[/i] 🔹Chart of types of ships (4 in all) is on the wall beside the door you go out to observe however hovering over the ship will give you the type and knot speed 🔹Weather is checked outside the main door near the foghorn building and temperature just inside the main door on the way upstairs 🔹There is a day & night cycle but the days are lengthy enough to get a few things done before bed and it saves the game. Graphics are good and the mood of the game is relaxing and foreboding, I always wanted to be a lighthouse keeper since I was a child, but once I grew old enough to do it IRL most of the light-houses were automated or out of service. I love the isolation and daily routine structure and the puzzles in the game are not too difficult yet not easy either. Give it a shot, for the price it is a steal !

Michal has always made unique games. This is a great one to relax to or to explore the mysteries of the lighthouse. The sound and graphics are always upper tier. The added voice acting is always a nice surprise. It sounds professional and believable, a lot better than most of the AI stuff we hear in games today. If you are looking for a calming game with a few surprises then check this one out.

The island where the game takes place is small but full of character. At the bottom, there’s a little pier, and from there a short path leads up to the lighthouse. The lighthouse itself is quite tall, with several floors, and there’s even a tiny garden tucked away behind it. Despite having plenty of detail and objects inside, the scale stays compact, so performance runs smoothly without issues. It all comes together beautifully, especially when you’re standing on the pier and looking up at the lighthouse. It really does feel like something straight off a postcard. Your role is to keep the lighthouse running and send out reports about the weather and passing ships. Most of this work happens on the upper three floors. The ground floor is set up as a kitchen and office, while the first floor is where you sleep and save your game. For weather reports, you rely on a thermometer inside on the ground floor and an anemometer just outside the front door. These give you the information you need to fill out your report at the desk. You also need to note whether it’s raining or sunny, and for that, you just trust your own eyes. It’s the first task you take care of each day, almost like a qu…

So far I'm loving the game. Aside from the main storyline, there are a bunch of other things you can do to have fun, like fish, grow veggies, cook food, etc. Also the visuals are stunning and I didn't encounter any bugs - the game ran smoothly.
