had to take a break from playing the game because getting hormones genuinely freaked me out
I haven't finished it, but I really do love this game. It speaks to me. Also women are very pretty and this game has a lot of very attractive women that I really like for a wide variety of quite gay reasons. I think of all the things to borrow the general sort of stylings of Disco Elysium, this is the only one I've seen so far that 1) does a good job of it and 2) does something new and interesting with it beyond that. My only regret is not having played it sooner, since it's been sitting on my wishlist since... since it came out, I think. EDIT: I finished it now! And am playing it again! Because it's wonderful!
I can't pretend I didn't buy this partly because I have a crush on the programmer but it's *honestly* the best writing I've ever seen in a video game and I can tell I'm going to be thinking about it a lot and making every trans woman I know play it. It's crazy how bold and refreshing it feels to have a game be directly about trans women doing trans things and not be hidden behind a broadly relatable allegory.
