A little robot who’s been thrown out to the scrap yard behind the city must return and confront the Black Cap Brotherhood and save his robot-girl friend.
- World: Machinarium world is populated only by robots of various forms and functions. One of the most interesting places in this world is old, rusty and legendary city of Machinarium where the game takes place
- Story: You will have to get rid of wicked robots from the Black Cap Brotherhood and save the head of the city and also your robot-girl friend
- Puzzles: You will be solving many logical puzzles, adventure quests, brain teasers and mini-games
- Graphics: Backgrounds and characters are 2D hand-drawn and there is more then one hour of carefully crafted animations

I loved Chuchel and Happy Game so I went into this game thinking I’d enjoy it as well. Presentation wise it definitely is my favorite, and the environments, characters, and music all are just so charming and has a great style to accompany it. However, the actual puzzle part of the game was genuinely difficult and at times even kinda annoying to figure out. Often times it felt way to cryptic and the solutions never made me feel like “oooohhh that makes so much sense” and more had me confused on how I was supposed to figure it out without just literally interacting with every single thing for 30 minutes until I figured it out. Obviously games like Chuchel and Happy Game are just generally much simpler in gameplay and puzzles so my issue is not that this game isn’t like those, I should clarify. My main issue is that in those games it never felt like the puzzles didn’t make sense, and if it didn’t there wasn’t so many things to interact with that you couldn’t figure it out by just trying everything for a little bit.
