I just found it slow paced and uninteresting.

I've played this game up until Chapter 4 but had to abandon it. Here are the main Pros and Cons: + Unique and a bit unsettling visual style + Intriguing story + (Mostly) Thought out and nicely made puzzles. At least from all those I've seen, there was only 1 instance where I've stumbled upon the solution just by being lucky enough and doing something, that by no means is intuitive or logical. +- 24 FPS cap. Could be a problem for someone but most likely is intentional for the more cinematic experience - Achievements aren’t working properly. You have to enable an experimental version of the game in order to get them - The way this game’s being sold is a bit confusing to say the least. Reminds me of the newest Hitman games or Life is Strange. - Minor animation glitches, which isn't that big of a problem. But the frequent random crashes and corrupted autosaves are certainly ruining the experience. The game itself worth your time, but it's technical condition is not something you can just ignore. I'd suggest waiting for remaster or just save often

Developed by Cockroach Inc. and published by The Sleeping Machine, The Dream Machine: Chapter 1 & 2 is a point-and-click adventure that immediately distinguishes itself through its extraordinary handcrafted presentation and atmospheric storytelling. Rather than relying on conventional digital artwork, the game builds its environments and characters from physical materials such as clay, cardboard, paper, and miniature props. This approach gives the world a tangible and almost surreal appearance, perfectly matching the strange narrative that unfolds. From the moment protagonist Victor Neff moves into a new apartment with his wife, the game establishes a sense of curiosity and unease that gradually evolves into a compelling psychological mystery. The story begins with what appears to be a simple fresh start for a young couple. However, the apartment building quickly reveals itself to be anything but ordinary. As Victor explores his surroundings and interacts with the eccentric residents, he uncovers clues pointing toward a much larger secret involving dreams, consciousness, and the mysterious landlord. The first two chapters do an excellent job of introducing the central conflict whi…
