Beware - your rivals are not resting, and only with smart planning and a bit of skill will you manage to bring the best programming to the screens!Your task is to strategically design your broadcasting schedule, maximize advertising revenue, and outshine the competition. You have a wide range of shows, movies, series, news, and entertainment programs at your disposal - place them wisely to attract viewers to their screens. I wanted to love this game, I have nearly 200 hours on MGT2 and I was hoping this game would be similar in the sense that I could start out with a small channel and grow it to a media empire. I just can't get into it. I was expecting Mad Tower Mixed with Mad Games Tycoon 2. Somehow it's neither and not a lot of fun.10 found this helpful
Had a nice first game in the current state. Played it for 32 hours on medium and had everything unlocked and was dominating with the best movies and other content. There is no real end goal yet, but it felt like I had beaten the game at this difficulty. Definitely gonna play it again. I love that it has the same tower game world as the game it's based on, [i]Mad TV[/i]. I get the same enjoyment as I did long ago with that game. It feels old school, yet it works in a more modern way. The moments you're waiting for the elevator to get a better matching commercial within minutes still give the same rush as the original game did. For me the first playthrough was already worth the money, and I'm already sure I'm gonna play another game in the future even if nothing is improved. But I'm sure the developers are gonna improve and balance the current features and add the new ones that already have placeholders right now, like the streaming service and sabotage. Yet another great game from Eggcode! Seriously they are on a streak! If you like Mad Games Tycoon 2 you are going to enjoy this one aswell. It also gives out board game vibes. There is not a lot of multiplayer pvp tycoons on Steam so it helps this title to stand out.1 found this helpful

This game is for people who can think a few steps ahead and enjoy building a brand. I love this game and I really hope they finish developing it. I played the orginal a lot in the 90's. Empire TV Tycoon is also a solid game that I enjoyed very much. At the moment of writing this review you can fight the competition, but there is no other goal to work towards to. I understand that the concept of buying gifts to win the love of a woman is outdated, but it worked for the game version from 1991, because it was clear how to win the game from the start.1 found this helpful
