I don't write many reviews, so apologies ahead of time if this ends up a rambling mess. I just felt somewhat compelled to, seeing this games Recent Reviews average as low as it is. It seems like a rare circumstance where me and my single review could matter a lot, so here I am. For full transparency and context, I am not far in the game despite 8 hours of play time. I am still in Chapter 4, and I have spent much of this time exploring, finishing quests, familiarising myself with the mechanics and enjoying the combat for the sake of it. I cannot really speak on what level, encounter or boss design look like after this point, or even attest to what the second character brings to the table or changes. [b]If anyone reading this expects a review of greatly specific informative detail, you can stop now before I disappoint you. The game itself has potential. However, at the current price, I honestly can't recommend it. It feels unfinished, lack of content, and more like an early-access project that somehow decided it was ready to charge full price. I'd recommend waiting for a significant update or a big sale. At the current price, there are plenty of better games you can spend your money on.

I haven't played much cause I got other things to play but the little that I did was really good, I don't understand the complaints too much yet, the price might be a bit steep by people spend more on things that last less. The art is really good, I love the "manga" panel sections (don't burn me idk if that's what it would be). Music is pretty solid too.

I also appreciated the addition of a skill tree, fast-travel points, an item shop, the ability to replay main missions, and the introduction of missions that incorporate different mechanics. - Graphics and Illustrations: They aren't the most lavish graphics, but they certainly have a unique aesthetic that gives the game its own identity. - Menus and User Interface: I find the menu interface visually appealing and well-laid-out. - Character design: Each one has an aesthetic and personality that makes them unique. - Enemies and Bosses: good variety, and each has its own mechanics. - Voice acting: Personally, I liked that they introduced voice acting for the characters. It’s an average performance, but a significant addition that I personally enjoyed. - Controller support: It was a great move to include support for controllers like the Xbox ones. Its a good game. its a hack and slash with some culture lol. if you get the patch its better. I have two complaints. one it the veriaty fo clothes is way too small and the game is super short 10 hours of story and 2 or 3 of side content.
