Game isn't really that bad, but its just absurdly short for the $40 asking price. Full release has a completion time of around 8ish hours, to me that simply isn't worth it. In regards to the game imagine a jankier version of Nier. TTK is absurdly high, basic enemies take several full combo's to kill. Only two character's in the game both of which only have a few combo's and as far as I can tell you can't switch weapon's so you'll be seeing a lot of those same combos. Level design is very crappy, the sort of thing you'd expect to see in a $5 game not a $40 game. Has H-scenes, but you have to download a patcher from the dev's patron. The only content in the game that actually looks high quality is the H-scenes and the main character modele.17 found this helpful
the steam version of this game ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sucks ass balls, better off getting it through the patreon dev launcher/version of the game6 found this helpful
The combat feels janky, the chapters are very short, and there haven't been many bosses so far. The character switch system feels very poorly designed with almost no reason to switch between them. Hopefully full release fixes some of these problems.4 found this helpful
It's a good casual AA game to relax to. Not stressful at all. If you're only here for the game, I'd buy it on sale. Otherwise, I'd pay full price just to support the studio and hope they get enough funding for a more polished sequel. It's got a good foundation for something better. Combat: Combat revolves around figuring out your combos and building up your rating to maximize damage. Enemies are pretty dumb. Enemies have a long time to kill, but I think that's by design to allow for you to build up a good combo. Challenge: It's pretty Easy. It's by far the easiest action combat game I've played. Exploration: It's Linear. The environment is kind of empty, but it's good enough for a AA game. Graphics: It's good. Animations are fantastic, models look ok - probably could use a few more polygons. Reminds me of a lower budget AI Limit. Music: It's fantastic. Price: It's on the high side, but I like to support smaller dev studios. The Early Access was 8-9 hours of fun. The game costs about the same to go to the movies with a friend - so I think it's pretty good. It kept my interest. For context, I'll usually know if a game doesn't i…3 found this helpful
after 6 year i waiting for this game i could tell you must patch this game before play *w*
Advantages: 1. Fast action responsiveness; 2. Great music; 3. Charming character design; 4. Distinctive art style; 5. Comic-style cutscenes are a highlight. Disadvantages: 1. In some scenes, the protagonist is stuck at the bottom and cannot be seen, possibly due to improper camera positioning. 2. No manual saving; it seems some elements are automatically saved upon completion. 3. The protagonist is too close to the bottom of the screen, making it difficult to see what's happening around their feet or what they're standing on. 4. The jarring effect in melee combat is intended to enhance the impact, but it also makes attacks feel clunky. 5. Gun attacks are completely unresponsive and need a rework. 6. During communication, the enemy portraits are centered, making it impossible to see the attacking enemies, resulting in constant damage and a miserable experience. These are some personal observations.
