Mitsurugi Kamui Hikae focuses on high-speed, arena-based action. Use lightning-fast sword slashes, hand-to-hand attacks, and mysterious ancient fighting techniques to defeat wave after wave of demonic foes. Make no mistake; this will not be easy. Your enemies are relentless and will attack from all sides. If you aren't prepared to strike and roll, you'll be overwhelmed in no time flat.
Weaken your opponents with vicious wounds, employ hand-to-hand techniques to build your katana gauge, and then cut deep with your divine sword. A spectacular flurry of blades will take down even the largest crowd of NPCs! After beating them bloody, sheathe your sword to finish them off with style. Be warned, however: if the enemy isn't "bleeding", then they'll take the opportunity to strike you mid-pose!
Use skill points to learn new skills, upgrade your abilities, and take on brutal bosses. Unsure. 5/10* To be honest, the main character and the antagonist 3d models and textures look really good even after more than a decade, but besides that everything else looks kinda mid, the music is boring and repetitive, the voice acting is decent, the gameplay is very repetitive, there are just like 3 stages and you get enemies spawned just to be beat, i didn't liked the controls neither, and changing them was a bit uncomfortable with the in game method, luckily with the steam input had no issues, at start the moves where very basic, but while you progress and upgrade, i have to admit it is decent-good, the narrative/story its trash, the game is short and start just with your character presenting herself and explaining the antagonist motives, and bam, right to the action, no more story for a few chapters, you may get just a few dialogues till the end, but even with all the things this game is lacking, i did a second run just to get all the upgrades, so it fulfill his job in being entertaining, that's the reason im not giving it a negative review. the game has achievements and steam cards, and accordingly to steamdb it goes really really cheap, i don't even remember buying it, s…1 found this helpful
Mitsurugi Kamui Hikae could be equated to all sorts of things, really. It could pass off as a vertical slice, created by a small team of developers and meant to be seen only by few suits in a publishing firm, from which said team is hoping to receive the fundings necessary to finish the project. It features a greatly limited amounts of assets, it's unpolished and not all of the ideas have been properly figured out, but the intended audience is fully aware of this and will analyze it not for what it is, but for what it'll be if they were to give it a chance. Mitsurugi Kamui Hikae could also remind you of a low budget game from the 7th generation of consoles, something you would have picked up from the used section at a Game Stop for 19 bucks, maybe hoping that you came across a hidden gem. Whichever way you look at it, it's cheap and unremarkable, but maybe that's exactly what drew you in. Have you ever found yourself playing a game from an anime you never heard of? Very often the charm of the source material gets lost in translation, and not just in the literal sense. the game is fun but i have a problem with full screen ( i give it 8/10)
crashou 2 vezes e na terceira apareceu um erro infinito na tela. o jogo é até daora pra quem curte oneechanbara, mas é todo zikado
Recommend on sale, the game runs fine, but it just feels like bloody palace from DMC, which I was not a fan of that anyways.
