I'd love to not have to write a review itself to state why I'm not recommending this game, but that's not possible. So, while I'll say that what's there is very enjoyable: that's all you're getting. It's clear their focus has shifted to their other project and utterly abandoned this one for the foreseeable future. A shame, but they seem to be enjoying their time with their other project quite a bit; and, well, I'm not their parent. What they wish to do is their own business, but I'm reviewing a product here. So, at present, this feels like little more than a proof-of-concept. An enjoyable one, yes, but you shouldn't expect a finished product from this. I'll still probably play this more myself, but I couldn't in good conscience recommend others to purchase something that will never be finished. If SMT-like roguelike with fantasy cyberpunk aesthetics are your vibe, though, there's still something to be enjoyed here. Just a shame we'll never see what the completed package will be.17 found this helpful
Abandoned. Dev seems to have some serious issues.14 found this helpful
TLDR: A massive mess of way too many mechanics dampens the more creative elements like capturing enemies. Also, abandoned in early access.

PROS:
➕Some unique concepts of capturing enemies ➕Good artstyle
CONS:
➖Abandoned early access game ➖Mechanic overload This is going to be a shorter review, because if the developer doesn’t get to finish their game, then I don’t have to put forth the effort of a full review. The obvious big negative for me is an abandoned early access game. The developer seems to have gone missing after working on another project, both remain unfinished. As such, I’m not waiting for EA to end, since it seems like it never will. I’m a pretty big veteran of card games, I’ve played both physical and digital card games for over two decades combined, so I am very fluent in card abilities and mechanics. Malice & Greed (M&G) goes to the absolute extreme with mechanics. Even the most basic skills have 2 or 3 effects stapled onto them, with some of the more complex skills having literally 6. Imagine in Magic the Gathering, playing for your first time, and seeing an enemy with Flying, LifeLink, First Strike, Reach, Trample, Sh…6 found this helpful

Avoid this developer. Neat game but unfinished and buggy. Dev is horrible though, promised a massive update then vanished. They started a second game then did the exact same game.2 found this helpful
