This game kept of my seat for a good 60 minutes. great use of what for the puzzles that were there. I found a couple of bugs, but early access and all. Don't walk in between the path and get stuck on the fence. I couldn't jump, even though I did a few times, and there is a keybind for jump. Mouse stops working if you exit to menu. Check it out!

So I got this game for free because of a key giveaway on X (Twitter), and I streamed both the first game and this one to my community. Overall it was a fun time. In both games there are a ton of great jump scares that really got me. I haven't screamed like that in awhile due to a video game. Although it was a great time, I found Martha's Dolls 2 to be lacking in content compared to the first game. It took me a little over an hour to finish the first one, and less than 30 minutes to finish the second. There were quite a bit less jump scares, lore, and puzzles. AND there is one puzzle in particular you have no chance of getting unless you get lucky. Sadly I had to look it up so I wouldn't be stuck wandering around the dark forever. Legit there is no way to complete the puzzle if you run out a resource, and you 100% will run out of the resource (hard to explain without doing spoilers). Overall was a fun, but I'm not sure if it's worth the price as a standalone game. The first one is way better anyways.

WHY DO THEY HAVE TO CHASE ME?!?! Yeah... the jump scares got me. Martha's Dolls 2 does a great job building up the tension. The puzzles stumped me a few times, but I actually really liked how they were handled. Once you CALM DOWN and stop worrying about whatever horrible thing might be around the corner, they're intuitive and absolutely solvable. Turns out panic isn't a great puzzle-solving strategy! The atmosphere is fantastic. The music and visuals rocked, and I especially loved the handheld camera. It gives everything a much more immersive feel and really works with the horror atmosphere. Jump scares? Yep. Getting chased while I yell at the game? YEP. Actually having to use my brain while all of this is happening? Unfortunately, also yep. Finished the second chapter and my biggest complaint is pretty simple: I WANT MORE! Had a great time with this one. RECOMMENDED!

Martha's Dolls 2 is a great indie project! It has a few issues I’ll address, but the developer clearly has huge potential in game-making. 1. Game length I feel like the game is a bit too short. Personally, I think the devs should give themselves a little more time and include a bigger chunk of the story per release! 2. Puzzles It might just be a skill issue on my part, but I really struggled with the "Time" puzzle. After being lost for a while, I had to look up the solution and even after getting the answer, I was still confused about where it actually came from (and to be fair, so was the guy in the walkthrough video...). 3. The last segment I love the "Weeping Angel" mechanic, but there seems to be a strange bug near the end. If you head over to the lever before checking the gate, you just fall straight to your death through the floor. I'm not totally sure why it happens, but it feels like that section of the map doesn't load in unless you're looking directly at it. Besides those points, I really enjoyed the game! It’s super fun, has a couple of really good jumpscares, and solid mechanics. I just wish it was a bit longer, and I’d love to see the night-vision mechanic used eve…

Very cute. Could use a little work on the optimization, but I liked it. Fun puzzles, spoopy little goobers, good graphics. I'd recommend! https://youtu.be/zIPtS6W8nQc

Unfortunately I had a lot of trouble playing this game. I ran into multiple bugs and was not able to get very far into it. I got stuck in the environment a couple of times. The biggest bug was characters camera would just stop moving. I would be able to move but my mouse output would not move at all. While exploring the back of the house it was also very broken and looked incomplete. I hope that there are fixes to the game but it’s unplayable in the current version.
