Master Forge is a first-person singleplayer simulation game with a medieval story. You can cut down trees in the forest to get wood. You can gather iron ore or coal in the dark mines. These collected resources are then stored in certain chests. One chest per resource. Two times a day a trader comes by, who wants to sell resources, with varyien prices. Furthermore you can craft different products on the forge by combining the different resources cleverly. In Addition you want to sell all those products to different customers with varying preferences. By earning new gold, you can unlock upgrades which increase your production.

Quick little game~ Fun, and at a fair price. FYI: There IS a tutorial ! However, its very easy to miss. All you need to do is to follow the glowing object ( which is not super bright or oblivious). And the text below will change according. Since the game is fairly easy and the developer allow you just play on your own without following it. That is why many people miss it and complain about there is no tutorial.1 found this helpful

Is it a good game? sure. You can get a good few hours out of this game for the price of it. Even if some of the elements get a little to tedious/repetetive in the late game.1 found this helpful
The concept is very interesting for someone like me, and I feel the developers are going in the right direction, but they still have a long way to go before achieving their goal. Normally, I would not recommend a game in such a limited state of development, but the very low price (about 3 CAD) takes into account this limitation, and I think it is justified for the work done and for the entertainment the game provides at this point. There's very little content, but the existing content works well and provides good entertainment.1 found this helpful
TLDR: It's a complete student project, nothing too interesting. Rated up for effort but that's about it. The core gameplay loop is simple: gather resources, forge, and fulfill orders. There aren't puzzle solving involved nor any player skill required. The reputation system is pretty redundant as it doesn't seem to affect the game in any sensible way. In the early game where resources are scarce and without a furnace (for real) player could only let the reputation drop until zero, then there's no penalty. One can just spend few days farming resources and only then actually start playing the game. In this case, why not just give player a choice to close/open the store? And to be honest all of the game could be simplified into a text-based game as there aren't any mechanism that actually involves player interactions other than running around delivering stuff. I do understand this is a student project, which is delivered decently. But it is unfortunately quite boring. As the quote goes: "If this game is a spice, it would be flour".
