About Match 'Em
Match 'Em is an action/puzzle game all about the beauty of geometric shape-shifting. Transform your avatar in one of 4 shapes, and color it in one of 4 tints to match the symbols and colors of the obstacles coming towards you and reach the end of the level!
Dive into the "Runner" mode to try out exciting levels crafted by the community with a built-in level editor. Each level may exist in multiple levels of difficulty, depending on the choices of the creator, and offer you some variations on the original design as you progress and master the art of shape-shifting. So from quick and puzzling surprises that keep you on your toes, to calm relaxing experiences, sure you'll always find something to your taste :)
Wanna solve some mazes and brain-teasy puzzles? Match 'Em's got you covered too! Find your way through more and more complex networks, use triggers to shift through walls and doors, and collect the star in each level!
In the "Explore" mode, you'll need to guide your avatar through a procedurally generated terrain to find and collect the hidden stars... while dodging or shooting enemies! Play with a time-constraint or in endless mode, choose how many enemies you wanna fight, customise the minimap helpers, and more :)
If you’re in the mood for a cooler experience, the "Chill" mode offers various challenges to practise your skills or just enjoy a stress-free gameplay. Choose between infinite play, timed challenges, or gate-limited runs to master the mechanics at your own speed.

The game comes with an intuitive built-in editor where you can prepare and test your levels before uploading them to the rest of the community :)
Use dozens of block types, create trigger systems that react to the player and transform your level dynamically, tweak the background visuals to make a nice atmosphere, paint your walls with unique patterns, pick the music you want from the library... and more!

A simple concept executed exceptionally well. The skill ceiling is very high on this, I couldn't complete most of the difficult levels in the 'Runner' mode. Mina really shows her talent here with the editor mode and the music you can choose for your level - all made by her! I played on keyboard.
Four shapes, four colors. The controls are insanely simple, but. If you account for every single shape/color combination, there are 16 forms you can take. Thus, it can be quite the mental exercise compared to other standard scrolling rhythm games which just feature 4-6 buttons! It's a very creative concept with a high skill ceiling. Most of the content in the game is beginner-friendly, but mastering all 16 forms at your fingertips can be quite difficult. And because there is a level editor, there is plenty of difficult content made by the community to try to clear, for the hardcore rhythm gamers! The developer is very active, responsive, and open to feedback. I sent a handful of bug reports, and they got patched the next day.
Super cool game! I'm really enjoying the various game modes, the base concept of matching shapes and colors is nice and these modes turn it into several gameplays that all require different skills. Also the level editor is a very good addition, I like when I can make my own levels in a game. I really recommend this game to anyone who has a few bucks to spend in a little action/puzzle game!
Just launched the game and tested the Chill mode: I'm already hooked! I find the concept very addictive... in a good way :) I like how relaxed and stress-free it is, how the music and the sounds make it even more of a quiet experience. Plus the visuals are just perfect, in a cute minimalistic vibe that totally matches (no pun intended...) the gameplay. Looking forward to testing the other modes and discovering every feature in the game!
I love how this game takes a simple concept and turns into multiple gameplays! Each mode is really unique and complements the others nicely. Plus, the game follows the "easy to learn/hard to master" philosophy quite well - although some modes require that you have pretty good reflexes ;) The rhythm elements and the art direction also add a cool arcade-like feeling. A really cool addition to my lib, especially given the low price :)
