Maze Art: Blue

Er... Well, it's mediocre at best. This is a maze game. The graphics are flip assets. The music is OK. No history here but your own. No bugs or crashes. It is somewhat entertaining but there's no challenge. Almost the same thing for 50 levels. You'll get all the achievements just by finishing it. A true Meh! game. But sometimes it's mindless stuff you need and this is as mindless as it comes. So, recommended if you're in the mood to play almost nothing.

Best thing about this game is that it adds one more game to your 100% completed games list, and that you can play the exact same game nine more times for nine more 100% completed games.

I got this from a giveaway site for free. When I thought I was done with "aMaze" games in my library a long time ago, "Maze Art" is here to replace it. Still as unremarkable as ever and not worth money, in my opinion. You move a ball using WASD or the arrow keys to navigate through a maze, collect hearts and reach the exit. There are 50 levels in total, with the difficulty (or rather complexity since there is no real challenge) increasing. I guess you could say it's relaxing gameplay, but then I'm not sure if I'm using it as a euphemism for "boring" at this point. There really isn't much else to say. Like the "aMaze" series, it's just a bunch of same-ish games using the same template, only with different themes and levels (which you probably could auto-generate and manually tweak a bit for technically unlimited content). Basically, this entire franchise is an infinite-money exploit (in theory). Once you've played one, you've played all of them. I wouldn't directly say that these are "bad" games, but they are unremarkable at best. They're just not worth money. You can find these at the back of your cereal box. Easy Achievement, 100% / ~60min.

Good game.

It has mazes. It has art. It's blue. 100% title accomplished, and you can 100% accomplish this title. If, knowing this, you want to pay US$2 for it, you'll get exactly what you're expecting. There are worse experiences than this out there.
