Not terrible for a dollar (or better yet 50% off sale.) Runs surprisingly well all things considered. Has some humorous powerups and references. Was fun for a half hour or so, not much past that though.

Don't be fooled by the simple graphics. I played this game on my laptop with an i9-13900HK, and it lagged terribly. On top of that, the HUD wasn't visible for some reason. My guess is that the game doesn't scale properly on some laptop displays. Because of these issues, I couldn't unlock all the achievements on my laptop, so I had to switch to my older desktop PC with a dedicated GPU. Surprisingly, the game ran perfectly there with no issues at all. To this day, I still don't understand how such a simple-looking game can perform so poorly on a high-end laptop. Because of that, I can't recommend it. The only exception is for achievement hunters, since you can unlock all the achievements in about 20 minutes - assuming the game actually runs properly.

The movement is a bit stiff. It works.

Controls are straightforward and responsive, making it easy to jump in, but the escalating difficulty ensures that staying alive for extended periods requires focus and familiarity with enemy behavior. Wasnt sure about this one at first as my first couple waves gave me crap for abilities but it got fun afterwards . Very reliable on luck as some abilities are just so much more OP than others but it was a nice fun time to get some achievements in a cute little christmas game :) Myst's Rating : 7/10
