About Xmas Apocalypse
Xmas Apocalypse is a festive horde-survival third-person shooter with roguelite meta-progression.
It's Christmas Eve during the Zombie Apocalypse and Santa's sleigh crashed over the zombie infested lands. Hordes of undead and other depraved creatures crawl out of the icy grounds to get a piece of Saint Nick. Can you survive until Christmas Day or is Christmas ruined forever?
Pick from a deck of upgrades to increase you firepower and add other effects to your gun. For example, equip your shotgun with the ability to shoot multiple projectiles that have the chance to burn your targets. Or Electrocute them. Each run you earn coins to unlock more upgrades to choose from and find the most destructive combinations.

This is not a good survivors game. insanely generic. gunplay and movement feels like you're playing shovelware on the wii. most positive reviews are either youtubers given free codes or people who met the dev. avoid and play something like blood and bacon instead.1 found this helpful
Third-person Bullet Hell Xmas Surprise
Xmas Apocalypse is a decent casual game that I ended up enjoying more than I expected. The best way to describe it is basically Vampire Survivors in 3D, but with actual aiming mechanics instead of purely brainless auto-shooting. Your aim and positioning matter here, which makes the combat feel a bit more engaging and active compared to the usual survivors-like formula. It’s easy to jump into for a quick session, but still fun enough to keep you playing longer than planned. That said, some of the upgrade design choices don’t feel fully thought through. For example, the game can offer you a healing upgrade even when you’re already at full health, which just makes the upgrade slot feel wasted. The bomb upgrade also sounds much better on paper than it works in practice. Since the bombs you stick can damage you as well, it’s surprisingly easy to blow yourself up during the chaos while trying to focus on enemies and movement. It turns what should feel like a strong upgrade into something frustrating to use at times. I also ran into a few minor bugs, though nothing c…1 found this helpful
it is what it is. nothing more and nothing less. one can't help but admire the purity of it all.
Xmas Apocalypse is a wild holiday ride 😊. This game's a festive mashup of survival and strategy, where you gotta navigate a post-apocalyptic Christmas world filled with zombies, monsters, and... presents? Sounds like a weirdly fun time. Pros: Unique Holiday Twist: The Christmas apocalypse vibe's pretty original _Fun Survival Mechanics**: You've gotta scavenge for gifts and fight off critters _Goofy Atmosphere**: The game's got some dark holiday humor Cons: _Graphics Are Basic**: The visuals are kinda simple _Might Be Too Weird**: The game's pretty bizarre, might not be for everyone _Short Length**: The game's kinda short, might not be worth it for some Rating: 6/10 for fans of weird holiday games 😊
Not recommended - it makes every aspect in its Vampire Survivors daddy worse and adds the need to mouse-aim at every single enemy individually, a process that is made extra painful (in addition to the arm pain you can get in minutes from playing it) by the performance issues and the jittery aiming that tends to skip around a lot. There are plenty of extra issues added because of the changes done to the Vampire Survivors formula and no significant improvements. The worsenings: 1. The need to aim manually 2. The need to fire manually 3. The inability to fire without aiming (what do you think it does to arm strain to have to constantly press down both mouse buttons and also hold the skipping aim steady, there is an annoying vertical veer of the aim because of the downward camera angle, and the character movement) 4. The inability to see what is behind your character (it is coupled by the extra restricted view when aiming and the fact that you cannot shoot without aiming) 5. The general lack of vision of the playfield 6. The gun shots having delayed hit registration (a delay of about a second) 7. The upgrades that mostly increase stats and do not make hitting enemies any less of a p…
