I like it but it needs a lot more features to make it customisable. Would be nice to change colour of memory boxes instead of having them all blue. Would be nice to be able to set individual dates or actual year on memories as well as file them in categories, Let us choose which bookshelf to put them in. Make it more like a library. Perhaps have some weather like rain or snow or seasons for outside area. Make it easier to view memories. There is a lot that needs to be done with this. EDIT: Some improvements has been made since first reviewed. Thank you for listening to feedback.9 found this helpful
Okay I made a previous review and gave this game a downvote because memories weren't allowed to be very long, and if they were long they were poorly formatted and thus illegible. The developer did fix this issue though and that's why I'm giving this a thumbs up. The music and atmosphere are great to write to, and the garden customization is a cool added feature. I plan to use this as a journal for friends and family to read one day and get a sneak peek into the inner working my mind.5 found this helpful
I'm not sure if the game is being worked on still or not. I do enjoy playing it and writing down some journal entries. Playing around in the garden. I wish there was more stuff, so I hope the devs will add some things. It has been therapeutic to write these down and go back to them. Reflect a bit.1 found this helpful
controls are nauseating, and the entries read across as a line...making them unreadable... which was kinda the whole point of the game, needs some work, even if it is a 7$ game? I'd change this review if an update came along to change the game mechanics to be a little more as intended, even just the memory mechanic, or some more interesting props to put in the garden1 found this helpful
Game just deleted all my memories. Ive asked the devs twice how to get to the save file folder to make my own backup and no one ever responded.
Memory grove is an interesting idea of a game. My first experience with this game went like this: 1. Make small notes about anything 2. Look back on notes 3. Filled three shelves in less than an hour Cool beanz. I would like to see the game evolve, but for now it's playable. Write small thoughts to revisit, collect coins and decorate. Not a bad starting concept for game 7/10 The map is more than big enough I think and the archive Interesting. It's not much but given it's price I really can't complain.
