So I bought a few copies of this game during a charity event. I wasnt even sure if it was something i would really enjoy? it just looked nice, and hey, it was for a good cause. But today I finally decided to try it out! Going into it, I had no idea what to expect. Like, none at all. And If you are reading this and even slightly curious.. just install it and play. Dont look anything up. Let yourself be surprised. Trust me. It is a beautiful little walking simulator with soft, relaxing “puzzles,” all centered around nature and our environment. It didnt exactly boost my mood....... But! not in a bad way. It felt meaningful! And was for real, truely a moving experience for me. It is very short, but i could really feel the love put into it. A gentle little reminder to slow down and appreciate the simple things in life 💖🌿22 found this helpful
Recollection is beautiful, calming, creative, and more emotional than it first appears. Natural Mode is cozy and peaceful, while Fragile Mode adds a surprising layer of tension that completely changes the experience. Short, meaningful, and memorable. Would reccomend.1 found this helpful

I recommend this game WITH some caveats. Before I get to those, I do just want to say that I like the style of the game. It's pretty nice. The music is calming as well. The game is also pretty short. As a result, the following complaints only apply for a short time. I read another review call fragile mode frustrating and, after playing, I wholeheartedly agree. The message is clear, but the gimmick gets old fast, especially when some of the objectives are pretty hard to see. I spent way too long on the butterfly in fragile mode. Also, the bird chirping sound is kind of grating and annoying. Overall, I think this game is worth playing, but be aware that completion will be a bit tricky. This is thanks to both fragile mode and how hard the bonus objects can be to see.
A sweet and short game about the environment. Not hard to dislike, but easy to be annoyed at the part with the BIRDS!!! Easy to 100% as well. Not a bad purchase.
Recollection is a contemplative exploration game developed and published by Erkberg Games that focuses on observation, atmosphere, and emotional reflection rather than traditional gameplay challenges. Designed as a short, meditative experience, the game invites players to slow down and engage with a stylized natural world where discovery emerges through careful attention rather than action. Instead of relying on combat, puzzles, or structured objectives, Recollection presents a journey centered on appreciating the beauty and fragility of nature. The result is an experience that feels closer to an interactive piece of art than a conventional video game, encouraging players to approach the environment with curiosity and patience. The concept behind the game is built around the idea of rediscovering wonder in the ordinary. Players move through a series of environments inspired by natural landscapes, observing small details that gradually reveal the interconnectedness of the world around them. The narrative is subtle and largely wordless, conveyed through the environments themselves and the interactions players have with the elements of nature. Rather than presenting a traditional sto…
