This is another game that should have been an Early Access release. The rate of patching not something a finished 1.0 game gets. Daily patch fixes and adjustments is a hallmark of the Early Access game. I can't wait for this to be a finished game.4 found this helpful
I cannot believe how addicted to this game I am. I have wanted something like Recettear for a long time, but all i could ever find were mobile games like Shop Heroes and Shop Titans, which are just cash grabs. This game is so freaking good. It has a surprising amount of depth, but is also very charming. I am thrilled with it, and can't stop playing it.2 found this helpful
I have mixed feelings about this game so far. I'd give it maybe a 6/10, but it does have the potential to be better. As things stand, I am going to continue playing it, and unless things take a severe turn for the worse, I expect to finish it. I haven't encountered anything that makes it unplayable, or even any severe bugs, and I'm still having fun. I could be having MORE fun, but fun is fun. In its current state, I do not recommend the game, although it's not very expensive, I think there are enough issues that I'd like to see resolved before I could recommend it. The basic game loop is that you assign workers to stations to craft items that you assign to display shelves. Shoppers come into the store, look at some shelves, and decide if they want to buy something. You can upsell them, try to swap them to another item, or sell the item. Rinse and repeat. You can repeatedly create items to improve the blueprint for the item, or you can directly research the blueprint. You can also craft items yourself, but crafting involves just clicking on the anvil, selecting the item and just waiting. Really addictive and fun. A good crafting game with a fine progress with story and some idle/gear based combat. I think the game is really well constructed, and I have not seen any problems with it. Its only minor QOL, and when I think of other games in the genre its a gem even with this.
I have stored 200+ games in my library, it's one of my top 5 favourates. The graphic is cute and polished and gameplay is super seamless yet challengingly complex. Most people would prejudge the game's depth due to the pixel style, but it's actually has huge amount of contents to play. Through this 35-hours of play I never captured a single bug. I was a little thirsty after playing 200 repetitive styled games and this one just comes out right time as a fresh dew. What a treasure. The price is set way much low for its content to be honest.
Cute game, but if you are releasing an early access, then call it early access... I will watch this game closely, and maybe re-buy it once it isn't getting a patch (or three) every day to address things that should either have been handled before launch, or the EA tag should have been used.
