As the 47th President of the United States, it is your sworn duty to take your country back by any means necessary and end this unjust coup d'etat! Battle in your advanced mech - armed to the teeth - across iconic American landscapes including the Brooklyn Bridge, the Grand Canyon, and the front steps of the White House.
FromSoftware originally released Metal Wolf Chaos in December 2004, appearing exclusively on the original Xbox and only in Japan. The game went on to become somewhat of a legend as it was hard to acquire and even harder to play outside of Japan with most fans experience of the game through YouTube videos and the occasional screenshot. Devolver Digital and FromSoftware have partnered together with developer General Arcade to modernize Metal Wolf Chaos with updates to the game including upgraded visual fidelity, refined controls and gameplay, a new save system, and 4K + 16:9 support for modern displays.

Only slightly more insane than the actual 47th presidency of the United States. I owe you an apology From Software. I wasn't familiar with your game.3 found this helpful
Blank screen with AMD graphics card. Fix was to change Specific GPU to NVIDIA, which I happened to have as my secondary graphics card.

In my brief time with this game, I love everything about it except playing it. This game originally came out in 2004 and it shows. The theme is incredible, you play as the president in a giant mech as you free the USA. The cutscenes are super cheesy and I'm smiling throughout the whole thing with how fun it is. The music is also great as well. Then comes playing the game. It's locked at 30fps because they really just re-released the game on PC. But that's not even the problem. The game play is just super simplistic. Enemies early on don't seem to do much to you and you run out of ammo too quickly. One of the objectives in San Francisco, which is the second level, is to destroy this giant building. Well I ran out of rockets taking down all the other objectives which left me just standing there shooting at a building with standard bullets. It just took forever to destroy, like everything in the game. Everything is just so bullet spongey that you find yourself using rockets instead of sitting still shooting at targets but then you run out of rockets and still have to stand still shooting at targets. I should watch a let's play because the cutscenes are the right amount of cheese and…
It's like if you took AC and dynasty warriors and then added an essance of postal or serious sam. idek how to accurately describe it. its so weird but good weird. the gameplay is pretty satisfying for those who crave destruction and being given a multitude of weapons to play around with. Wish there was more to upgrading. wouldve been nice if you could upgrade the suit with parts similar to ones in AC. sum boosters so you can boost even faster. overall its a fun game. If you love mech games this would be right up your alley!
While it's easier and simpler than any single Armored Core game that From made concurrently to this, it's still a fun and funny arcade mecha romp that's hard to not enjoy.
