Daemon X Machina: Titanic Scion

I'm going to be honest, the hate for this game is unreasonable. Yes, they changed the Arsenals from being mecha and turned them into powersuits. You can have your opinion on this, but hard argument: Armored Core 6 came out during this thing's development. They were always copying Armored Core. With this visual change, they have their own identity without sacrificing the customization of the mecha we used to have in the first game. On top of that, we are able to remove pieces of the armor to reveal our custom character beneath, offering more visual customization than a lot of games out there. The game added the ability to hide mutations after my first play-through which I did without mutations for the sake of keeping my character looking cool. Even without mutations, the game was fun and able to be beaten reasonably. Story is a jumbled up mess, but so was the first one's. The gameplay is leagues better and now we get an open-world to explore and play around in. I'm not sure why this game gets so much flack.

Buy at your own risk. If you like fast action gameplay, it is one of those. If you like mechs, it is one of those. If you like destroying lots of enemies and gigantic enemies, it is one of those. But then...it is a short gameplay...really short unless you are a collector that collect all parts including those quite useless components then you will have a long time grinding for the drops...other than that I dont see anymore reason to play this game once you clear the story...and yes like other stated...the story sucks as hell BTW, only buy at discounted price if you really wanna try the game YOU ARE WARNED

The OST is phenomenal so is the character creator , thats about it . Gameplay made me pull out my hair at times and the story was forgettable at best . Not a TERRIBLE game but far from being a AMAZING one either overall a mid experience. Fun but for a short while.

About 30 hours into the game, I've realized you can only loot one item off a dead enemy. This whole time I was just hitting the F key on my keyboard and was apparently just grabbing the first item on the list. I kept wondering why my gene collection was so minimal, despite coming across them so frequently. Aside from this, the game is alright. The voice acting is good, the story is okay, and the game is complex enough to make it interesting without it being overwhelming. I like to play melee and one annoying thing I constantly encounter is overshooting the enemy. I'll have a blade with long dash reach and when I dash, it just goes right past the enemy. While you can lock onto the enemy to address this, I wish the game would do auto-aim a bit better with melee weapons.
