Gotta be one of the worst games I ever played. I didn't know you can even mess up a basic walking sim, guess I was wrong.19 found this helpful
One of the worst games I've played in a long time!!!
This could have been such a lovely chill game but it totally missed the mark. The controls are HORRID !!! I'm used to keyboard & mouse, but it was bad, really bad! Tried the controller which was marginally better but still not good. There are no options to change the sensitivity of the camera. Although it's meant to be a short game, I've given up as I got motion sickness from it, something I generally don't get. The background soundtrack is just awful so I put the computer on mute. There's no options to save, pause or generally modify any of the controls. What a waste of time and $.2 found this helpful
Mighty Forest is a short adventure experience developed and published by Louie Inc that focuses on exploration, survival themes, and environmental storytelling through a compact wilderness journey. Rather than building itself around complex systems or large-scale progression mechanics, the game delivers a smaller and more focused experience centered on perseverance, navigation, and the emotional pull of survival against difficult conditions. It embraces simplicity as its core identity, creating an adventure designed to be approachable and easy to complete in a single sitting. The story follows a wolf that becomes separated from its family after a devastating sandstorm leaves it stranded and vulnerable. Lost in unfamiliar surroundings and struggling to survive, the animal must push forward through dangerous terrain while searching for safety and a path back home. The premise remains straightforward, but it establishes a clear emotional motivation that supports the experience effectively. Survival becomes more than a mechanical objective. It becomes a personal journey built around endurance and reunion. One of the game's strongest qualities comes from its commitment to accessibilit…
This is a short and cute little game, and I like the concept, but unfortunately there are two things that just completely ruin the game for me. Firstly, the mouse mechanics/controls are horrible, making it quite difficult to move around, and secondly, I kept on falling off the map and glitching inside of objects. If those two things were improved (and maybe some more content added as well) then Mighty Forest would be a lovely game.
This game has potential, but the invert mouse control is a bit of a mess. There aren't any settings to control audio, video, or controls—unless I missed them. Also, not sure if it’s a bug, but when I jumped on one of the stones in the ruins, it launched the wolf, haha! I’m recommending this game purely because it’s cheap, great for killing time, and it’s about wolves.
Such a shame... this could have been such a lovely idle game, but the controls render it impossible. I finished the whole game but it was a pain. It's really cute but you don't get to enjoy that because of the horrendous mouse camera settings. Which would not be such a big issue if the main (and only) objective of the game was not to look around using the mouse... this is literally the only thing you do in the game and it's awfully incorporated, almost unplayable. I can see why many people just give up after a few minutes. Again, a shame, because the game looks really nice and is cute.
