i'm going to recommend this but also have it come with a warning that this is VERY idle. there are some things to click but mostly, it's just waiting and watching. i don't always mind that because i put these games on and then go get other stuff done. the art is cool and i like the references to pop culture in the "upgrades" and miniatures that your little guy paints. it's just SO SLOW. i think the upgrade buffs need balancing. maybe more stuff to interact with? luckily the price on this game is low so at least the cost vs amount of time "played" is good.
Stat level up was weird from the start. but then I bought the bed and his relaxation bar recovery slowed to a crawl. Mystifying, and frustrating enough to make me uninstall without finishing.
Love this tiny man!!!
I enjoy working my way through unlocking all the figures and upgrades so if you're looking for a harmless distraction and love painting miniatures, this is worth it for some simple amusement. It's fun to unlock the upgrades and planning out what I'll work towards next. Ultimately, this game is kind of like a Tamagotchi widget that you check in on from time to time. Your mini-painter never dies though, as far as I know. It's a neat idea and I would like to see a full mini-painting simulator in this pixel-art style.
my first idle game I bought honestly it nice to have i like music looking after the mini painting guy having him has even helped me with my mini painting something about about having to check in on him to make sure he's not loafing to much helps my brain.
