What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Players are divided on this game, with some enjoying its core concept, but most criticizing severe balance issues, unfinished gameplay, and poor map design that wastes potential. Common complaints include extreme difficulty spikes requiring stat manipulation to progress, lack of true exploration despite metroidvania claims, RNG item drops, and technical issues like inconsistent controller support and collision bugs. A few positive reviews praise the game's foundation, but the majority feel the game disrespects their time through frustrating design and lack of meaningful objectives.
EDIT 24/11/2025 TLDR - the game disrespects your time over and over again thanks to lots of wasted potential | O jogo adora desrespeitar seu tempo graças à um puto potencial desperdiçado -=EN=- After a long, ungrateful playthrough, I finally finished the game and I only managed that by cheating. Not just "infinite health" cheating, mind you, because a lot of stuff was 1-shotting me anyway even with that, I had to reset my character's perks and bump up magic armor to 1400 to stand a chance against the final boss, as a m-armor rating of 500 means you'll be lucky to survive any ONE hit. The game is extremely unbalanced, there's no "metroidvania" here because map progression is completely linear and there's nothing to be explored anywhere. RNG to get certain itens is total garbage - you have to chop down trees in the jungle to get WATERMELON. WATERMELONS OFF TREES. WTF. This game has everything to actually be good, but there's so, so, SO MUCH stuff wrong with it that you could write a master thesis on that alone. It looks like it has potential to be a good game but in the end it was a frustrating and unfinished game.
Awesome!
9/10 Awesome!!
I haven't made it far to complain as much as others, but the controller support seems to be iffy. It's there and it's not, but a game restart fixes it. Not a fan of going somewhere cool just to find a dead end and maybe finding a secret area. Ladders seem to wanna keep me trapped and somehow I hit an enemy through the floor with a special attack. Not complaining about that it was about to kill me, so good bye! Kinda like the concept, might update this review further down the road.
