This game is really good and its got a lot of fun ideas in it, but the developers have put development on hold while they work on other projects (Conan Exiles). They have said they will return to it at some point, but anyone who plays early access survival games knows this routine - we have no idea if that will happen or not so I'd say wait untli they put out something stating that they are back to work on the game. They also haven't made this clear to people unless you go to their youtube channel and watch a video - which further makes it a bit suspect. As I said - there's a lot to love here, and the foundation they have is very playable... but I don't think you should support the development unless they start to be a little more up front about things at least, and ideally give us some sort of timeline for when work will return and so on. Relegating an update as important as "we have stopped working on this game for now" to a youtube video that you have to watch, rather than updating more clearly and making it very obvious to potential buyers feels very slimey to me.6 found this helpful

This game had lots of potential and still might, but as of right now the development team has put it on hold to work on Conan Exiles. I wouldn't call it totally abandoned yet but how many times have we seen studios pivot to more profitable projects never to return to finish older ones that they started?2 found this helpful
I'm going to preface this review with the disclaimer that this game is currently in limbo. While the devs haven't fully given up on it publicly, they have stated that it's on hold for now and as gamers we have to treat this as meaning no new content updates until proven otherwise. Since the announcement that it's on hold there have been a couple minor updates with minor features, balance changes and bug fixes, but no other news. That said, it *does* have a good amount of content as-is, it's just structured a bit oddly. The base-building/survival aspects are nothing special, and you're mostly focused on a fairly linear/mechanical 'progression' through new biomes to do story, but the REAL good story zone is at the very end and takes a good bit to get to. That zone is a real adventure but sadly you have to go through a lot of so-so content to get there. (Worth noting: You early on get the ability to just teleport back to your base wherever you put it, then teleport back to the current "story" biome, so don't worry about being forced to abandon your base or anything.) Game is good but not that much
Amazing, epic game. Mechanics around crafting and base building are very good. If you enjoy open world survival craft games I definitely recommend this one.
