About Mobocratic

Mobocratic – Play as the president of the distant Bear Island where the lives of the citizens are yours to be improved – or destroyed. Lead the nation to prosperity – or witness its downfall!

IT DOESN’T IMITATE, IT IS.

Some political simulation games approach politics as if it was a Shakespearean play. Yes, politics is often entertaining, but it doesn’t follow a scripture. Therefore, in Mobocratic, we don’t just play you the play, we bring you in the middle of everything. Everything is simulated! Relations – check, jobs – check, bank transactions – check, court’s cases and convictions – check, political opinions – of course and much, much more. There’s nothing like being a Mobocrat!

BE A MOBOCRAT.

As the Mobocrat (or as somebody could say, the President) you don’t only try to pass your proposals to apply new policies and build new buildings; you also nominate the justices to the supreme court, meet new people, make deals with businessmen, hire criminals and send them to do your bidding, spy peoples’ bank accounts and criminal records and… even that’s not everything. You wanna try? Then, be a Mobocrat!

MOD EVERYTHING. *almost:

Mobocratic is the only political simulation game that allows player to mod their games with large scale. So you can make this game to be almost anything you want. Isn’t that exciting?

GUARANTEED UPDATES.

We guarantee our players a continually improving experience. You buy the game today and like it. In some months, the experience will be even better! We are committed to creating value to our players and want to create a game that we ourselves would like to play. This is why we guarantee continuous updates for at least one year!

A FINNISH INNOVATION.

The Finnish people are known for not trying to talk up themselves. We’re not an exception. We don’t want to boast and exaggerate our accomplishments. Despite this, we have to say we’ve made it this time. Mobocratic is a game the likes of which you’ve never seen before. Mobocratic has been in the works for two years. We were about to give up. But we didn’t. With the Finnish SISU we carried it through and made the masterpiece Mobocratic is. This is good. Not good, GREAT! A revolutionary game for the new generation!

Buy this game! The devs take everybit of feedback you give them, add start working on it! They have also dedicated to update this for a year. And as a fan of political simulations, it is very fun now, and I am excited to see what they add!

Crashes to desktop every time I try to save it. The save doesn't even have the decency to complete before the crash. I don't know how anyone can give a game which cannot save a positive review even if it was in EA, which this is not. That aside, the game feels interesting but I don't understand what the purpose is. To make your people happy? To implement the policies you want, which seem like min/maxing rather than personal preference? The translation is also lacking which is important in a game which relies exclusively on text, like a party can have a policy of 'vulgar', which doesn't mean what the devs seem to think it means. You'll type in 'isolationism' to ask how a person feels about policies related to it, but they don't know what you're talking about because it is probably spelled wrong in the procedure in the program which checks it. I don't know. The devs seem to still be around, so check back in 6 months and see if this title makes sense yet.

So I tried the game after reading the description...I mean I love political games and all but this is just wth? I opened the game, there were no tutorials and I have no idea what to do. I was just complete lost...sadly this game is not worth the money. It might have potential in the future but right now is a no from me sorry. Will try to play a bit more and see though. [Update] Yeah so the dev added tutorials, great job!

Unfortunately, this game really feels incomplete. You can't do any of the operations yet. The game completely breaks if you build too many farms and factories because you get flooded with tons of money. Try to save, game crashes. Etc. etc.

I gave it a chance but where do you even start? Bad UI, no way to zoom in with the map it seems, no main menu, no ability to check what controls there are, no ability to lower volume, every single tab acts like a different window. It's an absolute clusterfock. Absolutely abysmal game design
