Monolight

Monolight is a FREE puzzle plat-former on the more easier side. Made by Korean indie developer, that fact will get abundantly clear as the game has many text lines not properly translated into English. At first I thought it might have been an error, but the abundance of these encounters at specific moments made it clear that it was intentional. Guess Korean speakers get the privilege of seeing the full picture of the story, while everyone else is cucked into using google translator. There isn't even a function to have the text translated or even subtitled, no 2nd playthrough unlock of any kind. You are simply expected to know or translate Korean... You can't do that in gaming. Monolight is not some language focused "Heaven's Vault" or "Chants of Sennaar". I truly feel disrespected. The game itself is fine enough. Black & White style is reminiscent of LIMBO but that's where the comparison ends. Gameplay is good enough but clunky at times. Plat-formers especially require fine-tuning to shine. The story and the game play revolving around light is what really sets this game apart from the game Limbo. I am not the best at puzzle games, so I found one of the sections near the end of the game very difficult, otherwise the puzzles were not too challenging.

Its a great puzzle game that requires some skill and quick thinking. Its frustrating in the right way. The only downside I think is the buttons are not entirely intuitive. But you get used to that pretty quickly.
