Monster Loves You Too!

Such a wonderful "choices matter" game. It breaks my heart it never got much attention, but really, the art style is so, so charming, the dialogue is funny, the characters all feel unique and fleshed out, the world building is fantastic, and I never felt overly punished for the decisions I was making. Recommended to me by a friend, and one play through was about 10 hours. Not a bad price for a story that managed to jerk on my heart strings more than once! The only issue I had was that there were two sprites without transparent backgrounds. Other than that, the story felt immersive. My only complaint is that I wish it were longer! 9/10.

ONE OF THE MOST BEAUTIFUL GAMES IVE EVER PLAYED. It was better than the first game. Its art was detailed with amazing imersive unique character traits and enviornments. The game made me self reflect and grow better as a person. The parallels of the games monsters to the human conditions is so vivid. I enjoyed the moral choices and the game system. I also enjoyed the uncertanty. HIGHLY RECOMEND THIS GAME! The story was perfect. Loved it!

Monster loves you too made me laugh, cry and reconsider my life. Behind quite colorfull and cartoony (but stunning) graphic lies an emotional journey that makes you feel like you're going to burst from amount of feelings sqeezed inside of you. This game awakned a strange sense of wistfulness in me; Like a show that ended too soon and left me carving for more, or a visit to a playground that I spend a large chunk of my childhood on. It's a hidden gem that I will try to introduce to it my (nearly non-existing) friend group. I bought it on discount, because my broke student ass has a little to none savings, but now I would gladly buy it and pay full price. I laughed, I died, I ate someone's arm, and I cried. A charming world with charming art direction and tough choices. I found myself having a tough time trying to pull myself away to rest cause I was engaged with the story. so much heart was put into this.

Made me tear up as a lead my monsters onward out of the depths and into the stars above. I made friends. Struggled with starvation and ones own instincts. fought for and against cruel masters. It may not be the most complex story. But it touched this monsters heart. (ow)
