Disliked playing this game with the various errors. Still stuck on the seesaw puzzle in the train. After moving the seesaw to open the doors to the grid, the games freezes up and the metallic squares do not move. Restarted this game now 3 times and not wasting any more time on it. These bugs should have been fixed before being published.7 found this helpful
I was really enjoying this mind bending game until I reach the car race bit.....! I wanted point and click not an arcade game!! Such a shame.5 found this helpful
WHAT AN ADVENTURE!
Sam the Magician was the star of his cousin Max's Circus, drawing enor"mouse" crowds in every city. Ironically, the infamous Magician mysteriously disappeared without a trace and the Circus eventually crumbled without their missing link. Thirty-three detectives later, Max Vigor seeks the help of Detective Paw, a struggling agent facing eviction. The one and only lead they have is from a distant memory of an odd symbol adorning the cane of a stranger...and so the Moontrain adventure begins! As many of you know, our beloved Kris Djokic from Dragonseye Studio passed away shortly after the release of Tearstone: Thieves of the Heart :( Thankfully, he was here to witness the success of Tearstone 2 but unfortunately, Moontrain was still in development. As a tribute, the Dragonseye team worked feverishly to complete the game to honor their beloved mentor...and they have exceeded everyone's expectations! Moontrain is a point & click adventure ride you don't want to miss! It's a thinking kind of game with adorable characters and whimsically animated cartoon graphics. The storyline will amuse and delight players of all ages as you search for clues and follow l…3 found this helpful
Nice Point N Click. Here there are several steps to complete a puzzle. It's not just "click here and then there to open door" or something like that, here you have to collect items, open boxes, put together stuff by assembling pieces and take stuff from the background and place it where it should be. It goes beyond your regular graphic adventure and you should certainly give it a try2 found this helpful
I have changed my recommendation based on some defects that showed up only on a second run-through. Some puzzles no longer work; for instance, tiles in a sort of window inside the train no longer respond to the mouse--or only sometimes. And now the hint button gives an animated response, but no hints! Comments posted by other players confirm that they experienced similar issues. You might be able to play the game once without seeing these problems, but going back through it again may provide a disappointing experience. Very clever takeoff on the hoary tradition of hidden-object games, with a catchy story and artistically interesting scenes and puzzles. It took me a while to figure out some twists on the usual method of finding and obtaining these "hidden objects," but fortunately good hints were offered from time to time that made the journey easier. The game went quite fast after I finally understood how things worked. A lot more engaging than some games in this genre that seem to go on forever. Got only some of the achievements, but those I did not get were almost all based on never using the hint button. I think most casual players will find this quirky game requires a…
While the game was fun I was able to finish in about 2 hours. Way too short of a game for the price charged.
