This game doth not be fit for my stupidity. I couldn't dare traverse the agonizing challenges that this game threw at me. I, for one, thought I was decent at horror videogames. Those nasty and impossible cabinets couldn't doth forsaken my abundance of horawr knowledge. I couldn't bear passing the "search the house" as this challenge was far too impossible to get past. I was merely lurking in the dark corners of this realm, with which I had no source of light to persevere this incredibly, overbearing, impossible task of *searching the house*. The cabinet physics, were so exquisite it nearly sent me up into the ceiling with joy. Unfortunately, I was unable to progress through this daring and challenging game. Thank you, and dilly dilly.6 found this helpful

It looks interesting. Sadly it's not. :( The graphics look great, despite it being a standard asset pack where the rooms have been slightly altered. Opening cupboards doors, push you aside or on top of them - very annoying. The controls don't work properly, it says E is for interact, but it doesn't work, even assigning a different key for it, same results. I got stuck on opening the door upstairs, apparently you needed to right click, then left click for it to unlock. There's no sense in it whatsoever (usually games have 1 button to take an item then you left click it, or it unlocks as you leftclick). As a detective fan, finding clues is the biggest fun in games, but there was nothing in this game that remotely made me feel I was playing a detective. Just a pretty bad walking simulator. It could have potentional, but there needs to be more story involved, better optimalization of the key/controls and the surroundings not pushing you around. And if really going for the detective kind not just walking back and forth to places to find more keys to open more doors. I couldn't finish it due to the above things, and it got me so annoyed I had to close the game down. Do wanna sa…2 found this helpful
I really wanted to enjoy this game. I saw the created posted that there will be a patch update earlier today however, the game is missing fundamental how-to. Seems that you get caught up on doors so make sure to close them after opening not much of an inconvenience and just a game play function to get used to. It seems that I just cant figure out how to use items such as batteries and such after something like the flashlight dies. I tried my entire keyboard I think. I understand its in beta but there should be basic functions of a game that this is just missing. The creator did try really hard on the graphics. I love the feel that it initially give off and the old school vibe as nothing is just given to you. I really think that should be kept! Like an Amber's Journey Beyond feel. Has great potential but currently a broken game. ***UPDATE*** After digging, I have found that its the mouse scroll bar to select the items in the inventory. I give this demo a HUGE thumbs down on the review. For the amount of content in a demo and lack of understanding on how the controls should work, it is not worth the price. This is something you would find in a free demo to amp up a release. Don't …1 found this helpful
Keybindings don't work, end of story. Don't buy if that is important to you.
This was a huge disappointment, honestly. It starts out well. I was super excited about it. I don't even care about the glitches. Sure, the game is early access but I've played free demos that lasted longer than this, which is all it is at this point - a $20 demo. I will absolutely be refunding this, but I will add it to my wishlist and follow for future updates and gameplay.
