About Murder In Tehran's Alleys 2016
Holy violence?! That’s how Jamshid Farrokhi, a crystal meth addict, is thinking. After using this narcotic industrial chemical, he ruthlessly kills his whole family - his wife, 12-year-old daughter and newborn son – out of severe hallucination. It was only after he sobers up that he realizes what a disaster he has brought to himself. So, he decides to avenge those who were responsible for his decadence and for turning him into a human less worthy than an animal. Thus began the murders and the unimaginable violence! The recorded films during the murders and the heartbreaking confessions by the victims shock everyone and cause turbulence in the society. Faramarz Afshar, a 32-year-old detective, is assigned to investigate this case; a case which can seemingly be regarded as the most difficult challenge in his life. In “Murder in Tehran Alleys 2” you experience the encounter between Faramarz and Jamshid Farrokhi in a clash of violence, reason, and the Great Sins (religion) with a taste of serial killing stories. “Murder in Tehran Alleys 2” is a tribute to David Fincher’s “Se7en”

Another winner from RSK. It's amazing how the first game in this series looks exactly the same as this latest one. Translations are still godawful, story is still an illogical tale of immorality and corruption, and the main character still cannot run if you click on an exit. This is the third in a trilogy of police procedural games out of Iran. The translations may bother some, but I found them funny. At this point, I'm used to the strange expressions and things not making complete sense. When the detective is told there's been a murder, his response is, "I hope it's nothing serious." Is murder no longer a serious thing in Iran?? Maybe not, because later we read about a guy who killed his wife and daughter while on drugs and only did a year in prison. Maybe murder ISN'T that big a deal which makes this game futile. Unlike the previous two games, the developers tried to show how modern Iran is, but our detective didn't even have a computer in his office and constantly complained at how slow the Internet was. You would think the Iranian PD would have the Internet figured out by 2016. Instead of making the West the villain, this time it was drugs, which some in Iran might argue i…10 found this helpful
the story is fantatsic and the graphics, but the only bad thing is no English speech5 found this helpful
The coding is a bit buggy, but nothing game-breaking. The story itself was very interesting and I enjoyed the investigative procedure very much. If you didn't know what to do next, just check the PDA as it gives a narration of what currently just occurred and what you should do next. Some people wished the voice acting was in English, but I really liked that it was in the native language. I think it would have been weird actually if everyone spoke in English since this was set in Tehran, Iran. The English translation for the subtitles wasn't the best, but you can easily understand what they meant. Puzzles are pretty easy. Overall, I recommend this game if you like crime investigation adventure games. Pro Tip: Pay very close attention to the story and to the killer's reasons.
There's a quiz at the end!
3 found this helpful
Wouldn't recommend this game doesn't have any single redeeming quality. * It is buggy. I got stuck
trying to talk to the soldier
. I just couldn't click on
him
* The story is trivial and boring * All the puzzles are trivial mini-games, no problem-solving here. Only pretends to be a detective game * The fonts are tiny and hard to read. The resolutions supported are a decade old. Everything looks tiny * Loading times: there's really no reason for such a long loading time for saving or loading a game * Glichy * Characters are stereotypical and boring * Women faces are masked/hidden in circumstances that, even taking into account the culture makes little sense2 found this helpful

I had to start in random places in this game three times because it just gets stuck that really ruins a good game which it could have been
