They've used AI for the visuals, which is baffling because the art style the AI is attempting to collage together is a sort of baroque-y, painterly, realistic style that was extremely popular during the time of classical music's heyday. There are many existing paintings of musicians that are hundreds of years old that exist in the public domain to be used for free. I should also expect a game which costs 10$ should bring the studio enough money to hire a real artist for the visuals. It's extremely lazy. What's more upsetting is that the actual game play is really fun and interesting, and I found myself wanting more expansions on the concept with more musicians, instruments, and compositions. I hope that the developers choose to either use pre-existing paintings that are in the public domain, or choose to use their profits to hire an artist to make real paintings for the cards.

I’ve no idea how I stumbled across this wonderful game, but it must have been a happy coincidence. All I know is that I was looking for a game with a musical theme. In fact, simply typing the word ‘Music’ into Steam isn’t enough, as it initially brings up all sorts of DLCs and other games. I think it’s a real shame that this game isn’t easy to find, because it captivated me straight away. The game is brilliant for musicians and for people interested in music. I think the idea of gradually putting together an orchestra from cards is brilliant. What makes it special is that you can actually hear the orchestral arrangement for each piece, depending on which instruments you’ve included. What’s also exciting is that you don’t necessarily have to use the instruments specified by the composer. For example, I once arranged Vivaldi’s ‘Summer’ with an organ instead of a harpsichord. The resulting sound was also very interesting. As the game progresses, you can unlock additional cards and items that help you make your way through the game. The game provides entertainment for a very long time. The programmers have done a brilliant job here, and it must certainly have been a labour-intensive pr…

It's like Yu-Gi-OhA meets classical music with no trap cards and a 10 point cost system. Sheet Music is basically Field Spells, Action Cards are your Spell Cards. Instant Action are Normal Spells, Passive Action are Continuous Spells. Field Spell is key! Without Sheet Music (Field Spells), Instruments (Monsters) cannot attack. There are different Instruments (Monster Types) and Style of Music/Music Periods (Attributes), and Composers (Support) which plays into the Sheet Music and will have different effects. Mixing and matching is fun! Object of victory is to perform a concert (duel) to have the best performance (get to 100 points) by using Sheet Music and Instruments. Also, there is a Draw Phase, Main Phase, and End Phases only. Final thing to note, there are tempos that mostly effect Sheet Music. Some pieces are better slower, others faster. Bit of a learning curve, but super fun! Using controller is a bit iffy, but it's doable once you get the hang of it. No need for mouse and keyboard here! Music is AMAZING! Hope they add more stuff to this game!
