About Mya of the Desert
Embark on a journey to restore life to a world plagued by entropy. Traverse the landscape as Mya, a desert wanderer, in order to return the spirits of the Geomancers to their sacred mosaic. Gifted with the power of the Geomancers by the mosaic’s guardian spirit, Mya will elevate pillars of earth and bend rocks to her will to overcome the obstacles of the desert, solve the puzzles within the Geomancers’ abandoned temples, and overcome the Golem that’s been awoken by the decaying mosaic!
Mya of the Desert is a Puzzle Platforming game with an emphasis on using earth manipulation abilities to solve environmental puzzles. Made by graduate students at the University of Utah’s EAE program, this thesis project represents two years of learning.

- Learn the Powers of the Geomancers: Extrude pillars of earth from the ground! Pickup and throw rocks from a great distance, or ride those babies for miles!
- The Desert Awaits: Explore an open world desert, dotted with the remains of temples once inhabited by both the Geomancers and their betrayer!
- Save the Mosaic: Life has drained from the desert ever since the sacred mosaic was first broken. Collect the spirits shaken loose, now scattered throughout the desert to return life to the world around you!

This game kept having issues and I kept getting stuck in the walls. I tried 3 play throughs today alone. and my boulder disappeared on the first puzzle, so I could not get through the 1st portal.

Someone made this game just for me without even knowing me! And I love it! I mean... is a little bugging, have to restart at one point cause i got stuck and apparently the achivements are broken and don't trigget. But is a fun little game for about 1-2 hours long. And funniest and clunkiest mecanish is the riding the boulder one. Anyway, I really like this game, cheers to the creators!

Mya of the Desert is a puzzle platformer with an emphasis on using earth manipulation abilities to solve spatial puzzles. Made by students in the University of Utah's EAE program this thesis project represents 2 years of study. The game in general is cool!
