[h1] Such old game of this caliber is always hard to recommend. Despite being slow paced and having low framerate there're some ideas and exploration involved. A bit wacky adventure where you play as an old fart and explore haunted castle full of different creatures. Don't become baldric should be your biggest concern here. Movement is annoying because it's flipped by 45 degrees making it a bit quirky. Overall gameplay is similar to old roguelike games with some simple platforming, finding some items to use somewhere is common. Most of the time ppl check on such games just to check them up without even playing again. Final rating - fart out of ten. [/h1]

A cranky old baron with a deadly burp, roaming cursed towers infested with monsters, traps, and yes: plague rats. This game is pure 90s chaos in the best way. It’s equal parts hilarious and maddening, with just enough challenge to make you feel like a pixelated dungeon master when you finally clear a tower.

Mystic Towers - review A blast from the past. Funny game with a decadent main character. This can be played with mouse only but keyboard is heavily recommended. There really are not many games like this, if any. If that appeals to you I would definitely recommend it. You play as a baron Baldric and you are tasked with eliminating all hostile creatures in a tower that has many floors. You must clear all floors and then move on to the next tower and repeat. Among other tasks, you must also satisfy your hunger and thirst. Creatures and Baldric himself are... interesting, to say the least. The game has charm to it that you won't find everywhere these days. It is good retro-fun and I do recommend it, however for many the control scheme can be old.
