Purchased it for myself and my friend. It's...not fun, and needs a LOT of polish. * Cricket sound is grating as hell * Control system is terrible * There is so very, very little to do * Big scary "roooar" sounds but....nothing happens * Using the sword is weird * The boat teleport is terrible, like really noticble and jarring * Teleporting stops your boat * The buttons (start / stop) have to be pushed multiple times to work after teleporting * Did I mention theres just nothing to do? * I couldn't host, for some reason, as my friend couldn't join me on LAN or CO-OP * When be friend hosted, he couldn't pick up item Shame, was hoping it would be a good fun with of friendslop to spend a weekend on!5 found this helpful
This is...a game. I know it's a single dev game but there is a lot goin on here that I think I'm missing. I've only played the one mission but I went in, found the core, took it back to my ship, sailed onward, and then...nothing. I like the switching between cursor and looking movements, and using the cursor mode to interact with everything def helps me feels like I'm sailing a ship. It is very bare bones right now but I think it shows promise.3 found this helpful
I’ve been following the game since its early days, and it’s nice to see how much it has improved in a short time. It still has some rough edges, but it’s clear that the developer listens to feedback and adds improvements based on it. If the updates continue like this, I think the game can become much better.2 found this helpful
