Nightwater

The game is the definition of stall. The automation isn't great, and the crafting is secondary to 5 mini games, with inconsistent scaling which make up the bulk of the game. 2 you can eventually scale to clear through and keep up with the increasing cost, but three of them are like watching paint dry, with one having no meta progression what so ever to help. Then, the finale of the game is to do all 5 of them in a row, with no bonus from any of the progression you made in the minigames. The platforming especially is terrible, and the final portion so if you get stuck you have to redo the entire section each attempt. Plus there are in game puzzles with no indicator in game what to do, and there would be no way to figure it out without being told. Save yourself 20 hours and go play something with better platforming.

This game is the perfect length. Any longer and it would have been dragging on. There is some now QOL additions they have added into the game such as the alternate crafting for certain mechanics. I would love if they add a faster way to lay longer runs of pipe, such as if the length is greater than the current segment (example 3,000), then if you place it down on a normal ground it would place the extender automatically. My least favorite minigame by far is the speed run volcanos. It was pretty frustrating. I think the farming mini-game also feels almost pointless.

I finished my first playthrough. There are a few things I haven't figured out. The building in the volcanic area allows you to pick items for production.. but where do they go? What does this building actually do? The 2nd minigame is too easily exploited. I was able to quickly get the rune booster 999 and then multiplier on the minerals/ores to be able to cheese through all the unlockables. The minigames could use a bit more info on the stats. Overall, I've enjoyed this game so far. I do wish there was a hotbar to be able to pick items, as well as auto create if you have the items or requisites in your inventory. I think as a community we are spoiled and accustomed to having these things. To the devs: great job. Not too tedious, minigames DEFINITELY helped to make it interesting so it wasn't just supply chaining.

Pretty good incremental game. The factory part of the game feels pretty clunky but was manageable. The variety in the game is where it shines; no one aspect of the game is why you play this. The balance gets 'weird' from time to time; sometimes I needed to focus on setting up my factory and others it never pays off compared to making it by hand. For the price, if you're into both factory games and incremental games and have a thing for minigames, this should give you a fun weekend.

A super nice and relaxing automation game, with cool incremental minigames! I did have to disable a number of the effects as they were quite bothersome, but I'm glad you can. 8/10

If you buy this expecting an automation game a.la. Factorio you will be disappointed. However, I would encourage you to instead look at it as an incremental game with automation elements. If you do, then the game suddenly becomes very, very good, and in fact contains multiple incremental games within itself in the form of sub-games that provide perma effects for your main game. The price tag is low, so if you're into incremental games and don't mind some crafting/automation, then I'd say go for it. In that regard, it's well worth playing, just don't expect it to be your next Factorio/Satisfactory/Dyson Sphere Program/Whatever game.
