About Deep Crafter
Build a Sustainable Industrial System in the Alien Deep Sea from Scratch
You are deployed to an ocean-covered alien world 15 light-years away. Against the backdrop of Earth's magnetic field crisis, this planet is not only a refuge, but also a testing ground for the continuation of industrial civilization. Starting from basic resource gathering and energy infrastructure, you will deploy underwater oil/mining drones, wind turbines, and functional floating platforms, gradually expanding a fragile starting point into a long-term, fully operational industrial base.Explore the Unknown Deep Sea and Unlock New Production Paths
Seafloor regions are procedurally generated, with constantly changing terrain structures, resource distribution, and environmental conditions. Different depths and regions are influenced by day-night cycles, ocean currents, and ecosystem states, directly affecting the types and efficiency of collectible resources. Exploration is not just about finding resources — it is about discovering new production paths. Certain key discoveries may unlock entirely new processing methods, forcing you to readjust your existing industrial systems.Design Factories — Not Just Stack Buildings
Deep Crafter’s industrial system emphasizes the balance between structure and efficiency. From basic processing to multi-stage manufacturing, the layout and logistics connections between assembly plants, conveyor belts, and vertical elevators directly determine overall production capacity. Design flaws may not be obvious early on, but will be magnified as your operation scales. You need foresight and long-term planning to build the most elegant steel networks under extreme ocean pressure.Automation Is Not Just Acceleration — It’s Decision Liberation
Through fully automated collection, processing, and logistics systems, resources flow autonomously throughout the deep sea. Once basic operations are handled by automated systems, you are freed from tedious manual tasks and can focus on higher-level industrial decisions: Will you rebuild production chains, or prepare infrastructure for thousand-fold future expansion? Automation gives your industrial system the ability to continuously evolve, rather than simply replacing manual labor.Biological Closed-Loop Cultivation: Making Life Part of Industry
Some critical resources no longer rely on repeated extraction, but instead form sustainable cycles through bio-factories, cultivation platforms, and electromagnetic systems. Specific plants can continuously produce industrial materials throughout their lifecycle, forming closed production loops through automated logistics. Here, life is not just a resource node, but a scalable and programmable industrial module, providing unique production pathways for your deep-sea empire. What Steam players say

This game is so cool, I truly love all factory games and wow this is really great, and I see a lot of great update, just awesome :-)1 found this helpful
The concept is fascinating and I see a lot of potential in this game. That being said there are some things that still need work. .The controls are a little janky, and some of the UI interactions could use some polishing but nothing that is not to be expected in an early release game. One thing I think would be a huge improvement would be the ability to set the collectors to collect only one type of ore, right now in situations where you have multiple mining bots working in the same area, the fact that the collectors pick up everything in their radius can lead to logistic problems. Other than those minor issues, I really think the concept behind this game is very solid, and I am excited to see where it goes.1 found this helpful
I like the concept doing automation assembly work under the sea and bringing resources up to floating platforms for smelting and assembly into usable items. The skill tree is pretty large opening a lot of new technologies to build. I'm still in the starter area so haven't really got a change to explore the area further than the iron, stone, copper, titanium resources available for mining. I think the crashes need to be addressed as I experienced at least four today during my playing. It is a bit frustrating to have the screen freeze on you then a not responding message to appear even after updating all the graphics card and motherboard drivers. I would hope that these random crashes get fixed as more development and patches release. Would I recommend buying this...that i a solid schmaybe. I cannot say run out and get it in its current state, but I cannot say the game is terrible, just going through some early glitches typical for most early access games.
Very early access but the making of a great game, using the same engine as DSP is a good thing as DSP is an excellent game. Keep going guys and this really could be an amazing game.
Game is similar in production methods as Dyson Sphere Program but with a 1st person point of view, I read some reviews of people indicating that production lines just stop... its not easy to see but its because the filter on the conveyor isn't set and you have 'garbage' in the line, collectors collect everything so anything that is close gets pulled in. Just make sure after making the conveyor that you set the filter for only what you want and it all works fine. Aside from that, sure there are things that need to be polished but its definitely worth the money, Hope this helps at least someone.
still looks like in development but pretty cool game so far. Does it run on Dyson Sphere engine? :D Lot of similar mechanisms
