Nocturia is a short first-person horror game where you play as a child, trying to survive the night while something haunts you. It focuses on light puzzle-solving, stealth, and environmental storytelling, aiming for a contained, one-sitting horror experience. Pros ✔️ The child perspective is handled properly - The scale, height, and proportions actually feel like you’re playing as a kid, which i find is usually fumbled. ✔️ Fully voice acted - The voice work adds a lot to the atmosphere and helps ground the story. ✔️ Short but effective story - It doesn’t overstay its welcome and gets its point across without dragging things out. Cons ❌ Some puzzles and railroading need clearer direction - There were moments where I knew what the game wanted from me, but not how it wanted me to get there. ❌ The final puzzle’s audio is rough - It’s way louder and more abrasive than it needs to be, to the point of being abnoxious. ❌ The hiding mechanics feel undercooked - The cupboard mechanic especially didn’t feel impactful when running around the counter worked more reliably. Conclusion This was a solid little horror romp. It delivers a decent scare without trying to pad itself out. For a quick,…

Nocturia is a fantastic short horror story about a child waking up in the middle of the night who gets wrapped up in a dark mystery about the previous house owners. There were a few gamebreaking bugs, such as when I accidently clipped myself out of doors you're not supposed to be able to (the stool mechanic is good but has that issue) however the game itself is super well designed, the house has tons of details that tie in to the mystery and it handles the aspect of playing from the small stature of a child very well. My audience loved this game when I streamed it, and I loved it as well. I made it extra enjoyable by using a voice filter to make myself sound like a child as well. I'd look forward to the next entry from this dev, Nocturia was just an excellent horror game

I got stuck outside the map twice and had to close the game and start over from the beginning. Unfortunately, I had to quit the game.
