About Noobs Want to Live

✦ AI summary

Build devastating synergies between unique cardboard-cutout heroes and their skills to unleash screen-filling chaos like fireballs and black holes on your way to godhood. Unlock meta-progression through talent points and reroll mechanics that let you discover countless synergistic combinations where 1+1 equals 4.5 or more.

We have it all (or some)! The sword master hero, the fireball totting maiden, a mechanically adept summoner, a great yellow canine who literally creates gold, a master of bacon... Well, each character is unique, to say the least!

Finely crafted cardboard cutout characters give the game a unique and fun feel as you fight your way to godhood! Come and give the monsters a whack as you blow up the screen with fireballs and black holes, and then some!

Master specific skills that create synergies with one another to cause mayhem and destruction. In Peachville, 1+1 is not 2, it is at least 4.5! What devastating synergies are there, you ask? You'll just have to figure that out for yourself! How many synergies can you find today?

Rabbits, ducks...... strange and interesting poultry have a hundred skills with armed evolution and treatment suppression both.

Each upgrade may be what takes you from wimp to hero! Spend gold to reroll your skill selections! Oh, and gain meta-progression in the shape of talent points to make your runs easier as you progress!

Kinda fun once you know what to do. I've got some gripes about this game, but they didn't make me hate it. Stuff like there is a lot of weapon types and upgrades to consider without a banish system, which just makes every run a gacha-fest until you get what you want. Also, the boss chests are sometimes very meaningless and useless., and synergies are not well traceable in-game which is a shame. Still, it had enough charm to keep me farming for 100% achievements, which didn't feel tedious to do as I enjoyed playing few runs every now and then.

Great game, managed to complete the storyline for each heroes. Had a lot of fun for its affordable pricing and it is very different from Vampire Survivor, finding out each different way to combine the weapon was so fun and enjoyable. Ran well and stable on M4 mac

I've played the heck out of this game and unlocked pretty much everything! While it's a lot of fun and you can get ridiculously overpowered, the RNG factor involved to get the power ups you want is kind of a major buzzkill. What's worse is you can pay to "disable" an unwanted power up, but it doesn't actually take it out of the rotation, it just makes it a blank card whenever it shows up. Seriously, why even bother having this feature when you can just ignore the power up for free?! Despite the heavy RNG, I still had a pretty good time. Your mileage may vary and there's definitely better versions of this type game out there, but it's decent for what is. Get it if happens to be on sale, but I don't recommend paying full price for this.

Noobs Want to Live is a roguelike survival action game developed by GD Studio and published by Lightning Games that transforms the increasingly popular bullet heaven formula into a colorful, chaotic, and highly addictive experience. Built around endless enemy swarms, exaggerated skill combinations, and absurdly overpowered character builds, the game embraces fast-paced arcade action while constantly rewarding experimentation. Although the overall structure may feel familiar to fans of the genre, Noobs Want to Live stands out through its energetic presentation, wide variety of playable characters, and flexible upgrade system that allows players to create wildly destructive builds during every run. The game takes place in the strange world of Peachville, a fantasy setting overflowing with monsters, bizarre creatures, and supernatural threats. Players take control of a cast of unusual heroes ranging from swordsmen and mages to eccentric fighters with ridiculous abilities and exaggerated personalities. The game does not take its setting particularly seriously, and that playful attitude becomes part of its charm. The humor, over-the-top character designs, and intentionally chaotic atmo…
