Effectively a blockchain/NFT game, but abusing the Steam Marketplace instead of some other blockchain/wallet system... the end result is the same, this isn't a real game, it's just dumped on Steam to scam PC gamers through the Steam Marketplace. It has no value as a serious game, you just click stuff in the hopes an "NFT" marketplace item drops so the developer can get paid for the sale... and of course so the developer can sell ones that he's farmed up himself. So while this looks "free", it's only superficial. The real purpose for this game is for the developer to farm and exploit Steam Inventory…

Not A Banana: Capybara is about as simple as a game can get, and I think that is both the reason I can enjoy it and the reason it has such a low ceiling. The whole idea is to click on capybaras to attract more of them and keep building up my collection. There is no big story or complicated objective to worry about. I open it, start clicking and watch the capybaras appear. It is a silly little game, but the capybara theme gives it enough personality to make the basic idea work. The collecting side is probably the part I find most appealing. There are different types of capybaras and special ones that can appear, with the game also having skins, items and crafting systems. There are weekly chances for special capybaras and drops that can appear every few hours, so there is at least some reason for me to check back rather than simply clicking until I get bored. The game also has Steam achievements, which gives me a few extra targets to work towards. The problem is that there is not much actual gameplay underneath the collection idea. Most of my time is still spent clicking the screen, and there are only so many times I can do that before the novelty starts wearing off. The crafting …
