I really want to love this game. Conceptually, it's a slam dunk. A very enticing story with the flair of that survival horror magnificence you can only find in the classic Resident Evil games. But objectively, several tweaks should really be made. The mechanics of combat are stacked against the player too much. Either the Zombies need to be majorly nerfed, or the player needs to be given a more effective weapon system. Zombies health is so high, it takes almost all of your bullets to bring them down. So ideally, more frequent ammo boxes or more powerful bullets are preferred. The SMG mechanics also need to be tweaked. 3/4 of the time, the SMG uses single fire for some reason, making it go way too slow to be effective. I also think a reduction of Zombie frequency would be prudent. In some areas, it's just insane how many there are. Also, a shorter grapple animation wouldn't be a bad idea. Really hoping this game gets an update with some tweaks. I'll be raring to play it when it does.2 found this helpful
I can see a lot of potential with this one, but the combat is really clunky.2 found this helpful

Ok, after coming back and finishing it (because I'm just THAT into this kind of game) i hate to say my opinion hasn't changed that much. It's still very very hard to recommend, even at free (sorry), with so much else out there that is a lot less clunky and more forgiving. The game isn't too bad after you get used to how stiff and yet how floaty aiming and combat is, and all the bones are there for an ok RE homage. But there's a couple really bad decisions imho that keep it down. There's a swimming section which is just really odd and tbh I kinda appreciated it for how weird it was, but the path forward mechanically in that section is poorly telegraphed and kinda broken. One of the puzzles really got me though. They aren't very entertaining or novel, but again, at least one might make you smile since the answer is kinda clever imho. The biggest issue and the main thing that brings this all down is how cheap feeling two of the enemies are. The sledge guys move too fast and stun lock you to death, and the exploding guys sprint, grab you and explode for an instant unavoidable kill. So even having all the first aid in the world can't help with that. Sure, you can sort of hear them from…
Its a good game I am enjoying it so far however I want to know why the Volume Mixer The Discord Stream and Even the Tab for the game when you alt Tab are all labeled The Walking Dead, The Walking Dead Saint and Sinners, TWD etc
You would think they would fix a BIG issue in the 3rd section of the game. After draining the water the floor moves to knee height and you can see the ground where you have to move the statues to
