You can transform your ship into a slower but more powerful warrior mode, adding a strategic layer to combat. The variety of enemy types keeps things fresh and challenging. One of the best features is the ability to adjust game speed, allowing players to tailor the experience to their skill level.

Offendron Warrior is a very old school arcade shooter that feels like it was made specifically for someone who misses the fast and unforgiving games of the 1980s. I am flying through a constantly scrolling space battlefield while trying to protect Offendron civilians from human war machines and a virus that turns them into dangerous enemies. The whole game is heavily inspired by Defender, so the main idea is not complicated, but it gives me a clear job from the moment I start. I have to keep moving, protect the civilians and survive long enough to push my score higher. The civilian system is what makes it more interesting than a basic shoot em up for me. Each planet has 10 civilians and I have to keep them alive through four waves before moving on to the next part of the game. If I manage to save everyone, I get to move into space and fight another group of enemies. If I lose everyone, the game changes into more of a survival situation where I have to deal with infected civilians. It's tough to review the games I never played, and got help from my brother on, but if I recall, what he said is that this is a decent, but very difficult arcade style shooter. So... I suppose I will recommend it just for people who don't want the achievements.
