Oh Balls Merge is a very simple puzzle game built around dropping balls and merging matching ones together. I basically choose where I want the next ball to land and try to keep combining the same numbers into bigger balls without letting the pile reach the top. There is not much to learn before I can start playing, which I like because I can open it up and get straight into a run without dealing with menus or complicated rules. The physics are probably the part I enjoy most. The balls do not just sit exactly where I drop them, so I have to think about how they are going to bounce and settle before I make my next move. Sometimes I can set up a really useful chain where one merge causes another, but other times I end up making a mess because I put something in the wrong place. That gives the game a little more thought than simply matching two numbers whenever I see them. I have to think about the shape of the whole pile and leave myself enough room for later. I also like how easy it is to understand the goal. I am always trying to get bigger balls and a higher score, so I can immediately see whether a run is going well.
