Players praise the upgraded battle system and Workshop features, but criticize the humor as significantly tamer and less appealing than the previous game, with complaints about forced unfunny roasts, recycled career challenges, and weaker CPU opponents that can't keep pace with the new mechanics. Technical issues like permanently locked characters and a less visually appealing art style further detract from the experience for many players.
[b]They upgraded the battle system while downgrading everything else[/b]. Career challenges are the exact same for all characters. The CPU opponents are even less capable of keeping up with the new phrase mechanics and expanded vocabulary. The art style has more details but became less appealing. The game's decent but... Humour is very subjective and having to select a roast you don't think is funny or good in any way but you know that the game will give you the win is just ick for me.
This tries to sell itself on being funny but lands somewhere between watching yet another fast & furious film and sitting through amy schumer comedy act, even that is a compliment since this game is basically a test of if can string together a grammatically correct sentence. If you can, you already beat amy.
Two "unlockable" characters cannot be unlocked.
Just as good as the first. Made even better with the Workshop!
