About Old School
Relive your school days in 3D, where old school graphics bring back timeless fun! Create your own star student and attend a schedule full of classes in time to gather the knowledge you need to graduate. With hundreds of other students walking the halls, an equally important popularity contest challenges you to survive long enough to thrive!
Envisaged in 3D for the first time, there are dozens of locations to roam inside and outside of school - as well as an abundance of fully interactive props to get you through the day. You can also fine-tune the camera to enjoy the action from a variety of different angles.
Choose from hundreds of preset characters of any age, or save your changes in the editor to make the world your own. Just when you think you've seen it all, a whole other career as a teacher awaits - which challenges you to impart knowledge as successfully as you learnt it! Whenever you need the support of friends, other controllers can join the action at any moment to help or hinder.
* Acknowledging that school is the first (and only) place that many people experience violence, this is an unflinching exploration of how true morality can only ever grow out of the muddy waters of immorality. The game depicts a fictitious universe. Any similarity to real people, past or present, is coincidental.

I love MDickie games, but this one was unfortunately a miss for me. It's just way too fast-paced, a ton of the problems could be solved just by slowing the clock down significantly, but unfortunately that isn't an option. The chaotic nature of MD games just doesn't translate well to a school environment where everything is organized and structured, and you're punished severely for engaging with the more fun aspects of the game (like combat in any way). That combined with the very few options given when talking to people makes it fall flat despite its potential, since you can't really interact with other characters on a deeper than superficial level. it's close to being a good RPG but lacks some essential mechanics that kind of kills the whole thing.4 found this helpful

Old school is a childhood game and I luv it!!!!!!
(READ THIS IF YOU'RE STRUGGLING TO CONNECT YOUR CONTROLLER)
Old school wont register your PS4 controller or PS5 controller, only XBOX. But I have a fix! (This is just how to connect to bluetooth so ignore this if you don't need it.) To connect the controller, hold the power button, aka the one shaped like the logo, and the share button at the same time. If you don't know the share button it should be the small button on the left or right side of the controller, in this case its the left. It should start flashing blue which means you should be able to connect it! Go to bluetooth and go to devices and connect the controller. If it says driver issue just disconnect it and restart your laptop. Now the important stuff. Turn off steam input for controllers, go to your library, right click old school, go to properties and then click on controller. (click on disable steam input, not use default settings.) you will need to download DS4WINDOWS from the official site (If you're wondering why its because it changes your PS4 or PS5 controller to an XBOX one.), next, go to settings on the app,…1 found this helpful
Developed and published by MDickie, Old School is a sandbox life simulation that turns the everyday routine of attending school into an unpredictable adventure filled with freedom, humor, conflict, and countless player-driven stories. Rather than presenting a traditional academic experience, the game combines elements of role-playing, action, exploration, and social simulation into one interconnected world where every decision can influence relationships, reputation, and personal growth. Staying true to the developer's signature design philosophy, it encourages players to create their own experiences instead of following a rigid narrative, making every playthrough feel unique through its dynamic cast of characters and constantly evolving situations. The game places players in a bustling school environment populated by hundreds of students and faculty members, each following their own schedules and interacting with one another independently. While attending classes remains an important part of daily life, success is not determined solely by academic performance. Players must also build friendships, avoid enemies, manage their reputation, and react to unexpected events that can disr…
